ESPN fired analyst and former NFL player Ryan Clark while he was in the middle of an episode of “NFL Live” Monday.
He sent prayers and love to other ESPN employees who have recently been fired by the outlet.
Clark was let go during an on-air break following the segment below:
The Athletic reports ESPN was forced to fire Clark mid-show out of fear that he would learn about his termination online after the news was leaked to other media outlets.
ESPN and NFL Network, which are both owned by Disney, will reportedly announce additional layoffs this week.
Outkick founder Clay Travis posted to social media that news of Clark’s firing was leaked to his outlet, calling it a “chef’s kiss.”
“Sanity is finally winning and wiping the floor with the woke sports universe,” he wrote.

Schrager had just finished making a case that Lamb, who had seven receptions for 110 yards in the loss, should be feeling better about his performance than Brown, who had one reception for eight yards in the Eagles’ win.
“We shouldn’t do this on TV, so I apologize if people think this is rude: That’s the non-player in you,” Clark said while pointing at Schrager. The former Pittsburgh Steeler was implying that because Schrager wasn’t a former NFL player, he didn’t understand that the team’s result is more important than individual performances.

This guy said the hardest thing he’s ever had to do is pretend that Brock Purdy is an NFL caliber quarterback.
Most places now have security in the floor while an HR person delivers the news and escorts them out. If the person gets violent security will jump in but ex employees have successfully sued because being escorted out of the building by security can infer the person has done something wrong.
Americans are tired of being bombarded with leftist politics. in spaces where they don’t belong.

The first time I witnessed it was the late 1990s... The dude was a high level computer geek. He was an odd one... He really didn’t do a whole lot but he was an ‘OG’ dude in terms of computers... There for the creation of he provincial governments entire accounting system which was still being used when they ‘retired’ him. They waited until they knew they could run the programs without him... Up until his ‘retirement’ if anything went wrong he was the go to guy... But nothing ever went wrong because he was too good at his job.
A lot of people thought... ‘What did he do to deserve that?’, but the truth was... They didn’t want him screwing with any programs or systems to make himself un-retire-able.
Hell... When I retired I was still using DBase-3 programs I had created in the 1980s to track over hundred thousand physical and electronic documents associated with government buildings. I could gather all the records associated with pretty much any building in the system within a matter of minutes, and then send that info to consultants and inhouse staff instantaneously via an FTP server. They started telling me in the 1990s that I needed to convert all that info to a different system... I just ignored them and continued using my trusty DBase-3 until the very end when I retired. They didn’t escort me out, but I did impart my knowledge to a junior employee.
When it comes to computers... If it works, it works... If it doesn’t... You’ve been hoodwinked by some computer geeks who sold you the farm... And you ended up with the sh*thouse. I watched over the years as hundreds and hundreds of thousands were spent on computer programs that didn’t live up to their billing. A total waste of money.
My gym sometimes has ESPN on the TVs. One is right in front of the bicycle I ride so I can’t help but see it. It is a bunch of people, mostly black males, with some hot white women thrown in, and a random white male sometimes. They act like they have emotional stakes in whatever sportsball they happen to be discussing and get very passionate. I laugh at them. On a side note, I will never understand how anybody cares one iota what Stephen A. Smith thinks about anything, much less politics.
