President Donald Trump went off on ABC News White House correspondent Mary Bruce during a Tuesday press conference in the Oval Office after she asked him about the Iran war, with the president saying she didn’t know “anything” about the conflict.
“Mr. President, there are no signs that Iran is ready to stop fighting, so what is the plan? Is the plan to just keep fighting until they give up?” Bruce asked.
The president was agitated by the question and bashed her for it.
“How would you know there are no signs? Why, do you know something that I don’t know?” he shot back.
‘Well, they continue to attack our allies and kill Americans—” Bruce started to respond, before Trump cut her off.
“You don’t know what the dialogue is behind the scenes. They want to meet desperately to try and end it, because they’re getting decimated. You don’t get that when you’re listening to your fake station, but you don’t know anything.”
Bruce started to ask if talks were ongoing, as Trump continued peppering her with questions.
“You know something I don’t know? Do you know something I don’t know?” he said.
“Well tell us,” Bruce said.
“I will tell you they want to desperately meet, and until they are ready to meet in a meaningful way, we have no interest,” Trump answered.
The president previously branded Bruce a “terrible person” last year when she asked him questions about Jeffrey Epstein and his family’s business deals in Saudi Arabia.
Their feisty exchange on Tuesday followed an Iranian attack on a military base in Jordan that killed two American soldiers last weekend. The U.S. has responded with more military strikes, which reached 10 consecutive days on Monday.
“They did slip something through,” Trump said about the Jordan attack a bit later in the Tuesday press conference.
He reiterated his administration’s goal is for Iran to never obtain a nuclear weapon.

He’s not wrong. Again.
How would you know there are no signs.
Reporters have a magic eight ball they know everything just ask them.

He is wrong. She knows she is a dumbas* and has to say what her ‘bosses’ tell her to say. But she looks ‘purdy’ to them.
Why even call on turds like this?
Call on the person right next to her!
Why even go there? ICE here out!

There is no reason to let Democratic party activists into the Oval Office. Let alone ask questions there. They should only allow “journalists” who actually do reporting. So there will only be 3 or 4 journalists there. So be it.

Trump can answer that question any way he wants. But it’s a fair question. It’s the job of reporters to ask tough questions.
The problem, of course, is that most reporters only ask Republicans the tough questions. It’s nothing but praise and softball questions when “questioning” Democrats.
ABC should have lost their White House pass since they refused to air Trump’s speech last week.
Although didn’t Iran just kill two of our Americans? That doesn’t sound like they’re stopping to me.
I dunno.
It’s a legitimate question.
Months and months into this conflict, we’re supposed to believe that Iranians are desperate to conclude a deal yet still have no problem killing our servicemembers.
I DISLIKE HER MORE EACH DAY.
The plan is obvious. It has been stated many times: ensure Iran gets no nukes and hole not killing millions of Iranians.

From the get-go, the Israeli/Mossad cabal assured Trump that after depleting US arms stockpile,
their 10,000 bombing sorties would “so weaken Iran” it’d be all over “in a matter of weeks.”
Iran would be rendered so “ineffective,” they’d even be “unable” to close the critical oil transport route ...... the Strait of Hormuz.
Now, 4½ months later, the US is still fighting w/ no end in sight, or even with a clear definition
of what an acceptable end would be -— w/ costs to taxpayers escalating into the mega billions.
That’s an objective, not a plan.
Israeli-induced US airstrikes caused significant damage and structural
collapse to visible buildings and key sites like Iran’s Natanz and Isfahan.
But Iran’s deeply buried components and underground enrichment networks (those at Fordow) remain largely intact, with their nuclear program delayed by a few months to two years...... depending on the intelligence assessment.

Frustration.
Can't argue with that. Knocking out thousands of mobile launchers accomplishes nothing. They just move them around some more. We need to do something more than pinprick military targets. I say strife Kharg Island and know out any defenses and put a hole in their biggest pipeline, then when they fix it do it again.

Great. How will anyone know when the mission is complete?
First and foremost Trump is preferable to any Democrat and continues to get my vote. However it is clear that Trump made an impulsive decision to go to war with Israel to destroy the mullah regime and remove an existential threat to Israel and imminently to the United States. Initially he was on the verge of victory. After two weeks of intensive bombing the mullah regime and the IRGC were tottering. The Kurds of Western Iran were willing to lead an armed rebellion and the protesters who had seen their comrades murdered would have joined. They represented the best chance to destroy the mullah regime without direct American “boots on the ground.” The Turks who fear any sort of Kurdish state threatened to bomb Israel and enter the war. Trump decided to “deal” and agreed to a cease fire. The regime rearmed and solidified. With their drones which the US does not have a reliable, effective counter measure, they have been able to control the Strait of Hormuz and keep their hands on the neck of the world’s energy supply.Trump is clearly frustrated, knows he allowed the best opportunity to win pass and now is faced with hard, bloody, necessary options. He also knows that the country is politically divided and Democrats will not only not support the destruction of the pathological, murderos mullah regime but he knows they will use the political backlash to seize power in ‘26 and ‘28.
