USA target 2038 World Cup after success of 2026 tournament as Fifa makes billions

THE USA look to be strong frontrunners to host the 2038 World Cup following the success of the 2026 tournament.

It has been one to remember for the USA as they won a knockout game at a World Cup for the first time since 2002.

Their Round of 32 win over Bosnia on Monday night was watched by an average audience of 24 million on Fox.

The success of the USMNT has captured the hearts of the nation and yet that is not what is making them frontrunners to host it in 2038.

As sports and business content creator Joe Pompliano pointed out on social media, Fifa might have had this in the billing before the 2026 World Cup began.

Fifa and the USA came under heavy fire for absurd ticket prices and cost of transport among several other contentious issues before it started.

It will be the most expensive World Cup ever from a fans perspective, but what it will also be is the most lucrative for Fifa.

Fifa are estimated to generate around $13 billion in revenue and make an eye-watering $10 billion in profit from this World Cup cycle.

That revenue figure comes to just under the past two World Cup cycles combined.

From a financial sense, which is naturally the main driving factor in modern soccer, it makes sense for the USA to host it again in 2038.

Expect by then for FIFA to ban tackling, and make the games look more like yesterday’s England France game.

The USA got magnificent reviews from visitors. Happy it was here for that reason alone.

Let’s keep the european visitors who appreciate America and leave the soccer bore fest in Europe.

I suspect most of the folks who came to the US were more pro-Trump than the natives, because they are the more wealthy from those countries, how else could they afford the tickets for the games and accommodation the whole time here. Probably easily was $20,000 for them to come here for the games.

That is the only reason I’m glad it was here.
I will be highly cheered now, since it’s finally over.
I won’t have to keep hearing about the whole wrangling mess.

Probably the number of visitors from any country was well under 1% of the population. Even if they share their positive impressions with friends and relatives, the other 99% of the people in those countries will continue to believe the negative image they get of the US from the media.

The USA the world fell in love with may not exist in 2038 if Zohran “Robbin’ Hood” Madmani and his not-so-merry band of Communists have taken over the country by then.

Even if Rubio or Vance somehow manage to win and secure two terms in the White House, they'll still have an opportunity in 2036.

If they're patient enough, that will happen.

I do not know about being "pro-Trump"...Those fans wanted to see World Cup games...End of story...I do not think they allowed their feelings about President Trump to influence their decision to visit United States...

Yes, many YouTube videos about the Europeans discovering they've been lied to.

However, the game itself is incredibly boring. I didn't watch, but in the final: 90+ minutes of regulation time and 30+ minutes of extra time and the final score was ... 1-0. BORRRRRRRRING!!!

It's a stupid game...kick a ball or butt it with your head...wow...and try to get the ball in this huge net.

But watch out there's a guy in front of that net...and he's quick as a bunny. lol

At least there is zero chance of a constitutional amendment being ratified that would make Madmani eligible to run for President.
