@MarkLynchSC

Rick Scott introduced a bill to END Social Security by 2028, leaving more than 75 million American seniors without the benefits they earned, and hurting everyone who has already paid into it. He calls it welfare.

In the Senate, I will fight to protect your benefits from career politicians like Rick Scott and Ralph Norman.

Fine. Vote for Platner.

Not my state...not my vote.

I do believe Buckley was conservative enough to make a better living than the two of us.

Um, okay. What's your point?

I’m not saying she would, should or could go after him, but at least call for a referral to charge him. He committed perjury at the least and that is not even debatable. He should be facing jail time for that in the least. If Steve Bannon, Mike Flynn and Peter Navarro all went to jail for less than what Jack Smith did. Get this traitor. Sick of these weak Republicans that do nothing.

Fine. Anyone can go after him. That’s why all incumbents should have a challenger to keep them honest. Lynch was there and made his point but didn’t win. That doesn’t make him anointed. You’ve got to challenge somebody with somebody and Lynch never won anything. Winning an election or two beforehand is part of the vetting. There are exceptions but the stuff coming out of ones mouth should not be the sole measuring stick. Look at the ones we lost over women’s bodies shutting down during rape-rookies. That cost us seats in Indiana and Missouri. I was a big fan of Wm. Simon, treasury secretary. His son ran for California governor and was pathetic. I could go on. Just don’t take chances.

**What’s your point?**
I do believe your answer will be found in my post #20.

With welfare, you get it, even if you didn’t pay into it.

Remeber that 80% 8s 5y3 cap.

A U.S. Senator who is never reelected and has served at least five years receives a pension based on years of service, not their full salary for life. The pension is calculated using a formula that applies an accrual rate (typically 1.7% per year for those entering before 2013, or 1.0% for those entering in 2013 or later) to the average of their highest three years of pay.
