The number of federal jobs in the DMV area has fallen by just over 60,000, from nearly 376,000 at the start of President Trump’s second term to 312,500 in May.

I wholeheartedly endorse your plan. Trump's been cutting and I definitely approve of that. What happened to the plan to ship whole federal departments off to small town America? This drains the Swamp and has the added benefit of causing many of them to quit....because the whole idea of living in Casper, Wyoming or Salisaw, Oklahoma or Clarksdale, Mississippi would send them into paroxysms of horror.

You are absolutely correct that we need to flip Virginia back to red and the key to that is to drain out Occupied Northern Virginia. If we could hive off Louden, Arlington and Fairfax counties, that alone would do it.

Even figuring only a $100,000 salary, and the average is probably higher, that’s $6 Billion reduction in base salary. Plus a benefit package plus job related expenses (car, parking, travel) and surely there were expense account/gov’t credit card abuses, the savings may be well over $10 Billion.
