That isn’t true. Something very good occasionally comes out.
I take movie critics with a grain of salt. Too often they let their biases rule their judgement. My motto is, If I liked it, it was a good movie. The only way to know for sure that I’m gonna like it is to watch it. I know it’s a gamble, spending money and time on an unknown.
