They built careers pretending to be other people.
Then Donald Trump came along… and they revealed who they really were.
From Jussie Smollett’s fake MAGA hate crime scandal, to Kyle Gass blowing up Tenacious D’s tour with one disgusting joke, to Tom Arnold’s “Trump addiction,” Alec Baldwin’s anti-Trump SNL era, Amy Schumer alienating audiences, Ron Perlman and John Cusack melting down online, Seth Rogen becoming another predictable woke celebrity, and Tom Hanks losing his neutral “America’s Dad” image — this is the story of Hollywood stars who damaged themselves while trying to take down Trump.
This is not about Trump personally destroying them.
It’s about actors, comedians, and celebrities who became so consumed by anti-Trump politics that they hurt their own reputations, careers, brands, or public image.
Some lost roles.
Some lost credibility.
Some just became impossible to take seriously.
They were supposed to be actors.
But Trump became the role they could never stop playing.

I stopped watching two tv series because of the lead actor’s public anti-Trump positions. I watched the first episode of another series. It included wise cracks at Trump’s expense. I stopped watching that series.
