Mystery gold symbol seen popping up along the Las Vegas strip...leaving both tourists and locals scrambling to figure out what it means

A cryptic gold symbol has been popping up across Las Vegas, leaving residents and tourists puzzled over its mysterious meaning.

The emblem - accompanied by the date July 16 -has been plastered across digital billboards throughout Sin City.

Popular locations, including Park MGM, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and Circa Resort & Casino, have displayed the symbol, leaving the city buzzing with speculation over what the mark could mean.

Many believe the symbol is connected to Nevada’s hockey team, the Golden Knights, as the franchise approaches its 10-year anniversary.
