Again. And I think you nailed it. They are looking to find Platner wannabes, cookie cutters, rather than the Democratic establishment. The moderate stepping in and saying the leftward drift is going to take us nowhere. Good. The moderates in the party are stepping back because they're scared of the socialist wing. But this socialist wing is basically, as I say, they're cookie cutters, they're boring people. They're very boring. Most of them have never had jobs. They repeat Marxist and socialist clichés. They align themselves with racist Middle East Nazi movements. They sell the voters a con job because they don't really have much to do. They believe in this notion that rather than being a building society, we should be a taking society. We should have the takers that take from the people that build. They don't have a vision for the future. And again, the opportunity here was for the Democratic leadership to step in and say, "This socialist drift is a bad drift for the Democratic Party," but they're scared. And they'll find out what we found out during the French Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution, the Russian Revolution: the Jacobins and the French Revolution, the Bolsheviks and the Russian Revolution, will purge the moderates. So this is a party that is going increasingly socialist, Marxist.
- I'm glad you mentioned the fact that they do appear to be afraid of the left wing of their very own party. Mahek, what do you make of that, and what gives here? I think there are a lot of people who have been drawing this sort of parallel and saying, "Well, you think about the Tea Party. I don't think Republicans en masse rushed to go even harder." Right? But it seems like, at least in this circumstance, the Democrats are pushing even farther to the left, certainly in the state of Maine. What do you make of that, Kevin?
- They are.
- Fear does not win elections. You have to actually speak to the voting base. And this is where Susan Collins has won five terms because she is an extreme. She speaks to moderates and independents, where Democrats are failing and these socialists are failing is they're failing to realize that a third of Maine voters, roughly, are independents...
“ a third of Maine voters, roughly, are independents..”
That makes them liberals.
If I wanted to know what FOX news was saying I’d ____ ___ ____.
I’m out on a limb hear, but I would guess the average Maine woman voting for Platner would do him in a minute.
Perhaps the DAZIs will fracture the traditional democrat party. If that happens we can expect the dems to lose elections. If that happens we can expect the Republican to become even more RINO-rich and complacent than that they currently are.
If that happens, well that sucks.
Yes, this is the Marx ideal.
Unfortunately, humans are by nature lazy and selfish, while their needs are infinite.
So socialism evolved into forced labor camps with government limiting the consumption by shortages and preferential treatment of the revolutionaries.
>Fox guest on DSA: Most of them have never had jobs. They repeat Marxist & socialist clichés. They align themselves with racist ME Nazi movements
Damn shame the (R)N(C) has done ZERO to dispel...anything; esp. as they themselves push Socialism+ (DHS, NCLB, O’Care-lite, anti-DOGE, pro-amnesty, etc.) instead of the (now) long dead Constitution, I mean “party of small govt” (DOD: ‘16) farce.
Obama had hard core commie guests at the grand opening of his chicago center...
Lived in Maine a couple of short periods. I wasn’t impressed at all, but I did meet some nice folks there. Seemed like the state didn’t have a lot to offer. Available jobs were low-paying. Winters there were awful.
