As the 250th anniversary of our declaring independence from British tyranny nears, what’s affirmed is that America is preordained to be the battleground between liberty and tyranny -- whatever the stripe.
ast Tuesday, there was a Broadway premiere of sorts. In New York City, elections revealed the Democrat Party’s future. Avowed socialists won with the backing of Zohran Mamdani and dollars from leftist NGOs. There’s no spinning it. Democrat grandees aren’t even trying. Bill Maher claims he’s open to voting for J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio in 2028 if the party is captured by socialists. Whacky James Carville loudly called out his party’s leftward lurch. He’s threatening to walk if socialists take over. Start walking, James, because generational change, in part, will do to your party what President Barack Obama claimed he wanted to do to America: transform it.
Oh, and don’t forget all those migrants who helped elect socialists in New York. Democrats asked for it.
A socialist Democrat Party guarantees continued conflicts at home. “Tax the rich” this is how socialists actually contain themselves. The rich are smarter than them and America is a constitutional republic. The “rich” don’t have to accept their nonsense… they divest and move elsewhere… whether its personal wealth or the businesses they run.

As is the (R)N(C) pro-3rd-world (that ‘cheap’ labor). 20M+ invasion during the Biden admin & we all we heard was “many of the party are pushing (the President) for Amnesty”

The blind-obedience is a faux dichotomy symptom. Just look at all the blustering from those here on FR, “If I had the chance, I’d NEVER for {X} again after they voted/pushed for {Y}...(votes for {X}, yet AGAIN, even given that there’s more than 2 choices on every ballot)”

That is a comforting lie that conservatives tell ourselves. Maybe it was true 100 years ago but not so much anymore. Maybe 33% to 40% of Americans are instinctively pro-freedom. More than half would trade freedom for the government "taking care" of them. And a small but vocal minority is now fascist and is actively anti-freedom.
