Nobody ever “got rich” by hoarding wealth. Money only grows when put into circulation, and the more rapidly the money cycles through investment, the more rapidly it grows. This does involve some risk, like the borrower defaulting, or a miscalculation of taxation. Then there is outright theft.
Money simply lying in a vault does not multiply. It has to be out working. Otherwise it is just an ornament.
