The false Sullivan had never previously affiliated with the Republican party until his decision to run against the incumbent Dan Sullivan. He employed a consultant who is a well known supporter of Mary Peltola, a Democrat running for the same office.

Mary Peltola is the one he’s running against. All the Dems up here are crying that Dan J. Sullivan has every right to run, but the elections came to the conclusion that the fake Dan Sullivan is only trying to confuse voters and not promote himself. This guy only has a website and wouldn’t you know, it looks just like Dan S. Sullivans logo (blue background with a gold star). He changed his party affiliation 2 days prior to application and has supported demos all his life.
He has a right to change his affiliation and support democrats. Like I said it’s sneaky and they pay no price after the fact.
In this country, you are free to change your political party affiliation and to run for any office for which you meet the constitutional qualifications.
So how do you stay one step ahead of those that lie and cheat without doing the same? We’re gonna have to turn it up more than a notch on these people while they’re going through their civil war.
The only time they feel shame is when it comes to our country.
Enough of this high-minded nonsense. Yes, technically you’re correct. We know that.
We also KNOW this scumbag in conjunction with the Dims has don’t this for a purpose. And that is wrong.
Here’s a quite comprehensive list of when this tactic has been used, starting with JFK’s 1946 congressional race in which a janitor named Joe Russo was hired to run against him and Boston City Councilor Joe Russo to split the “Russo” vote :
While Dan Sullivan’s candidacy appears to be a transparent attempt to confuse voters, states can, and in some cases do, establish standards to distinguish between candidates with the same name on the ballot.
Assigning a number to each ballot posistian easily solves the problem.
The corruption here is beyond almost any state in the republic.
What can be done to un-corrupt them? Any reasonable hope of thet being able to happen?
The "R" party leaders here are all Murk pals.
The only balance at all are all of us veterans (highest per capita in the nation)...but cheating overcomes a lot.
Apparently so much corruption. So many need a taste of justice.
