Amelia started as a ham handed character in British school propaganda.

The students were rewarded for recognizing how awful and racist ideas like “don’t rape girls and burn churches” are.

It backfired.

And now the image of punk rock Amelia is being used to rile up people to rid themselves of the invaders.

Largely because all the English blood lines whose males had measurable levels of testosterone were extinguished by WW1 & WW2.

Interesting rendering. The biggest flaw is that the sound track belts it out while she doesn’t throw the physicality into what it takes to do that. The smiles, mouth movement and breathing are all correct, but none of it is big enough to look real.

It’s the message that counts. The government started it to stop unapproved “disinformation.” That backfired big time on them and Amelia is a million more time popular than their stupid lame-brained cartoon telling people how to think.

British people have purple hair?

I noticed that.

It's good that she's not covered in tattoos and piercings ... the purple hair is a bit "woke."

And despite the anti-sharia message, dressing a bit less slutty would have been nice. There's a tasteful zone between a burka and slut attire.

“Amelia” was created by the UK govt in a series of game/trainings to get native Britons to fear being deemed ‘racist.’

I see. In that case, YouTube might remove it on copyright or trademark grounds.

Even if it's fair use, it might be expensive to prove that in court.

Eastern Europe and the Balkans bled heavily in both world wars. Yet they seemed to have retained their testosterone.

Correct. Rather than the Memelords just grabbing this character at random though, the version I’d heard was that Amelia was created by the government to serve as an avatar for supposed “far right” things you shouldn’t say or which globalist Leftists deemed “racist” but which most British people AGREED with (because they’re true). So when the public saw her, rather than disliking her, they immediately loved her and adopted her as their own.

These function similar to the pamphlets used to pass the word before 1776 imo.

Good point.

Along these lines, it is currently being pointed out that, historically speaking (our experience obviously being to the contrary), revolutions rarely succeed.

This is being said, specifically in response to the notion, currently being floated, that the U.S. might consider arming British civilians.

In any event, boy-o-boy, are these interesting times!

Obviously. I was just musing on "the state of the art" so to speak. They do know how to make her appear confident and attractive. That's a lot of musculature to learn.

Didn’t have memes in the 1700s, so they wrote “Common Sense” or published “Federalist Papers”. Those didn’t throw off tyranny either; but, they raised the level of consciousness and eventually ire.

For from the truth imo, having grown up there. The 70’s & 80’s were rife with rough men, football hooliganism, high unemployment...there’s the Gen X that grew up in it.

There’s been decades of propaganda around “fighting racism”, which then led to policies of multiculturalism where any dissent was “racist”.

It worked for quite a while, they’ve been knocked into a daze with it all but they’ve waken up now. Amelia is just a symptom. So is the “The Node Project”.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__QWMRCaPOA&list=RD__QWMRCaPOA&start_radio=1

So is this song “Suicidal Empathy”.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x29DUdHOTT4&list=RDx29DUdHOTT4&start_radio=1

The UK has always been on the edge of the “next thing”. From being the home of original punk, being a rebellion against traditional British culture, to this “new punk” being a rebellion against wokeness...it’s happening. It’s boiling. They’ve been too patient - but the cat is out of the bag, they’ve been lied to and know it.

When culture starts writing a multitude of songs about the state of things, the populus are on board.

Nope. Just because a person can do that doesn't mean it is a convincing AI. Sorry, but thanks for the link. The kid is amazing.

The kid is indeed amazing.

I look at AI generated stuff like cartoons. It doesn't have to be lifelike to get the job done. Bugs Bunny wasn't terribly realistic, yet entertained me for years. ;-D The Three Stooges didn't act like real people; but, they taught me everything I need to know about "fitting in". ;-D
