But I think the Left would be surprised at how nasty and ruthless all those 'nice people and pushovers' they took advantage of over the years would suddenly get.

Here’s the problem…the Government has effectively bought off most Americans. A very high percentage (everyone I know) of those who served in the military are getting big disability payments. Many get pensions. Everyone else is angling for Social Security / Medicare. The few who don’t suck from the government teet are extremely few.
Well Social Security is doomed, Medicare is doomed, Pensions and 401K’s will be taken to fund Social Security for a little longer as they can’t raise taxes on people as they will revolt, there is talk of lump sum payments to the younger generations and with near 40 trillion in debt the options are few.
I have always said that the point of a civil war — for our enemies who would like to encourage a civil war — would just be to have it. Sure, if the communists “won” and gained complete control, I guess the Bad Guys would like that. But they don’t expect that. No one expects that. But if the US is fractured, if we suffer big losses, if our society takes a hit and our economy goes into a depression — for the Bad Guys all of that is good news and it doesn’t matter who wins or if anybody wins. The war itself is an automatic victory for our enemies who want the US to be weakened.
Some people (stupid woke Democrats) can’t see that.
I laughed. But then thought that this is the type of joke that will get played after the war ends…and we will all shake our heads and wonder why we thought it would be that easy.
But yeah…as soon as someone pushes back, they will flee.
Because most of them are crazy and it's not so easy to fight crazy people.
I know someone who is former military, and the key is to have disabilities that can’t be proven. Hearing, sleep issues from memories, pains that can’t be addressed, etc.
This person was never in combat and played a supportive role, in the field.
Another former military pins his unsupportable items on trash fires.
I heard Graham Platner is receiving $60,000 a year from disability payments. Alleged PTSD in his case.
Are you suggesting that those military veterans are overstating their disabilities? And that the physicians who certify their disabilities are complicit in this fraud?

Last week I found myself cheering for the Saxons while watching the 2004 movie "King Arthur".
Which, BTW, is an excellent movie with great music and, if you watch the director's cut, is quite gory on the battlefield. In fact, in this case, I recommend the theatrical release version.

And some of those stupid woke Democrats... actually ARE our enemies. I call them our enemies within... because they invariably root for our enemies without... and because they, whether inadvertently or deliberately, aid, help and abet our enemies without with their stupid anti-American policies and agenda.
While I agree mostly, the right at this point is effectively neutered. In my opinion it’s already too late, our country is doomed and really no one has the stones to fight for it other than online bitching.
