Armie Hammer is back in a leading role with the release of Citizen Vigilante.
The new action-thriller from filmmaker Uwe Boll is now available on all major TVOD platforms like Apple TV, YouTube, and Prime Video in the United States as of Friday (June 19), giving viewers a chance to see the film from home.

Citizen Vigilante story is Sanders (Hammer), a wealthy American businessman living in Zagreb who inherited a massive real estate empire from his late father. Intelligent, isolated and emotionally scarred, Sanders transforms himself into a feared underground vigilante targeting violent criminals, rapists and corrupt judges who escaped meaningful punishment through the legal system.
As his brutal campaign gains traction online and across the media, Sanders becomes both a wanted criminal and an unlikely public hero. But not everyone sees him as a savior. If Armie really wants to make a comeback, he should star in a reboot of Soylent Green. But this one would have a surprise twist ending when he finds out that Soylent Green is people.

Uwe Boll? Low quality fun-fest, probably only worth watching while under the influence of numerically more chemicals than a Twinkie stuffed with Zingers.

Go in with realistic expectations of a Uwe Boll film, and you’ll be quite impressed.
