Freddy has struck a nerve. Not only were the fans singing the national anthem at the top of their lungs but just about all the players were singing it and holding their hands over their hearts. Of course, there were a few who didn't but compared NFL, MLB and NBA fans they were unashamedly patriotic.
Too bad soccer is so gay.

Had he gone to a range and fired a Ruger Super Blackhawk yet? That is a quintessentially American experience.

Good for Freddy!! I hope the remainder of his visit continues to be enjoyable and safe for him. I don’t do social media, but I’ve enjoyed seeing articles posted here about the fans who have come here, and had such a positive experience.

For boisterous expression, warmth and hospitality he may have picked the best region the US has to offer.

Even Scots in Boston were impressed by Americans. I was watching a Japanese eating a Whataburger and couldn't believe the burger. A Swede said about Ranch dressing: 'I need to bring it home. We don't have it and it's a shame.'
There are a few YouTubers (Graham family and Your NZ Family for two) who are commenting on those World Cup visitors visiting America for the first time. NZ Family visited the US twice so far and they were commenting on the Japanese who was eating at Terry Black's BBQ. NZ Family went there and laughed at the tourist from Japan, who said they need this in Japan!
