On Thursday, the Department of Justice announced that three people in Ohio had been charged with conspiring to smuggle unaccompanied minors across the U.S. border...
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the indictment highlights what he described as a wider issue involving so-called super sponsors, individuals who take responsibility for three or more unrelated unaccompanied minors. Blanche said many of those children later become victims of labor or sex trafficking...

Well said.
Back when the unaccompanied minors crossing the border became a huge media issue under the Obama administration , the media painted a glowing picture of LGBTQ+ couples and singles rushing to the border to “rescue” these poor abandoned children fleeing something or other which was never made clear in their home country
Knowing the queer community the way I do my first thought was - shopping for trafficked pre pubescent sex slaves
Looks like my instincts were not far off. This child trafficking goes back to the Obama era and most of these kids just flat disappeared
And they can now all be deported back to their home countries because children don’t need asylum under normal circumstances. The example must be set that illegally crossing U.S. borders won’t be rewarded.
There has been great contraversy in the Great White North the last few years about mass graves at Indian Schools that have yet to be found.
I doubt we will find mass graves of migrant kids around the US but I suspect that their thousands of individual graves scattered around sanctuary cities.
I agree with older children (13 and above)
Younger children can be repatriated if they can be returned to a family member.
Younger children can also be repatriated to a government willing to take custody.
Sending young children home to starve on the street or be trafficked back to the US is not something I think we can do.

It is not unheard of for parents in poor countries to sell their children. It is also not unheard of in poor countries for child prostitutes to exist.
I am aware.
But just sending kids back where they came from (if that can even be determined) is not much of a plan.
We will have to have cooperation of the home country regardless.
My guess is that we will end up paying these countries to take them. These countries will then end up selling as farm labor.
But, I have to hope that they are going to a more friendly hell than the one from which they were rescued.
How many were in basements in DC and Virginia?
