I agree with older children (13 and above)
Younger children can be repatriated if they can be returned to a family member.
Younger children can also be repatriated to a government willing to take custody.
Sending young children home to starve on the street or be trafficked back to the US is not something I think we can do.

It is not unheard of for parents in poor countries to sell their children. It is also not unheard of in poor countries for child prostitutes to exist.

So then send them home when they get old enough to be more independent. Simply educating them in English gives them a marketable job skill in the international economy back home. Illegal conduct should not be rewarded unless we want to encourage illegal conduct.
