@RepThomasMassie
19 Republicans withheld our votes in order to preserve Constitutionally guaranteed rights.
By refusing to honor the Fourth Amendment, you’re jeopardizing the continuation of FISA.
Include a WARRANT requirement for US citizens if you want Republicans to pass this bill.

I’m OK with Republicans sometimes go against the grain. But it annoys me so much because Democrats rarely ever do. democrats are always locked step. Republicans always have to put a stop to things.
“I am happy this is being stopped”
Same here. Enough of Big Brother.
“Trump really hurts his credibility when he runs around clamoring for this abomination to be renewed.”
Trump was probably convinced to back it by the likes of someone like Linseed Grahamnesty.
Let it die a horrible death...
The erosion of our constitutional rights needs to end...
One hopes Trump has found out that FISA can work both ways
Comeuppance at the hands of the same tools used to FA with Trump would be one of those biblical math equations that ends with he did unto them, with their tools, to undo them..
Well, yes, but as long as it’s used only when probably cause is established. I know a lot of people think tit for tat is called for after all he (we) has been through, but I don’t think we should abandon our principles.
We have to be careful there, too. Because you say overseas ‘terrorist’ groups, but that’s not the limitation - the only limitation is ‘overseas’. So Britain spies on Americans for “us” and America spies on Brits for the UK.
I want to see REAL limits on that as well - there has to be real justification.
It should have been 218 Republicans.
