“We’re in a nightmare. It doesn’t feel real,” said Anthony’s parents in their first interview following the verdict with Mimi Brown on The Breakfast Club. “We’ve been up all night crying and praying.”
“We didn’t know how cruel the world could be,” Karmelo Anthony’s father, Andrew Anthony, said. “We did everything we were advised and told to do, and look what happened.”

.
“The reality of this is that somebody literally walked into [Karmelo’s] life,” he said, “[Karmelo] did everything by the law and just look at where we’re at.”

No state -- not even Texas -- allows the use of lethal force in response to a non-lethal threat. The case is that simple.
You thought something you could do would change the fact that your nasty vicious son stabbed someone to death?
Justice would have been killing the little bitch instead of sentencing taxpayers to 35 years in prison.
Where’s Father Pat O’Brien these days? You gotta turn yella Rocky so the kids back on the block will despise you and not follow in your footsteps. When James Cagney breaks down crying right before being executed, you kind of think he did it, turned yella, for the kids. Maybe, in his own crazy way, Cagney found salvation.

Nowadays, instead of real men, we have unrepentant gang bangers and street thugs. They’re going to hell and they’re taking a generation of impressionable boys with them.
Nope, 35 years sounds reasonable a time for Anthony to think about what he did an ask himself if the price he paid was worth acting out in mindless anger like he did.
“The defense stood there insisting he had no history of violence.. no pattern of behavior.. no warning signs.. while prosecutors pulled back the curtain and exposed a February 4, 2025 assault incident at Centennial High School that Frisco ISD quietly swept under the rug..
According to testimony, Anthony got into an altercation with another student.. who was white.. and Anthony assaulted him.. and then threatened his life.. that threat was serious enough for administrators to search his locker.. where they found a knife.. the same knife he would use two months later to murder Austin Metcalf..
Instead of contacting law enforcement, the district handled it “internally”.. giving him a slap‑on‑the‑wrist punishment that barred him from sports and extracurriculars for the rest of the school year.. and that internal punishment is exactly why Karmelo was not supposed to be at the track meet in the first place.. he was banned from attending any Centennial sporting events.. banned from participating.. banned from even being there.. yet he showed up anyway.. skipped school to do so.. and then sat under the Memorial tent where he didn't belong.. and the adults who should have enforced that ban did nothing… “

Nope, not the innocent victim.
He carried a knife with him for one sole purpose, to stab someone.
Austin happened to die and it might not have been Anthony's intent to kill, but he did, and it was intentional and premeditated. I'm not a mind-reader so I do not make judgments based on post event interpretations of intent by the culprit trying to wiggle their way out of justice.
This boy deserves what he got.
But who knows, if his family screams racism loud and often enough, and there are a lot of folks that think in mere terms of skin color who claim to be against racism, maybe they can get things to change for them...
Look at the bright side, in Texas I believe given this is his first criminal offense, his age, good conduct, he could be up for parole with only 1/2 of the timed served: 17.5 years and some time will already be applied towards this.
I doubt we will actually be in prison for 35 years, probably not much more than half assuming this sentence isn't even further reduced somehow in an appeal.
-- When I see the reaction of the family, no shame, no guilt, no sense of responsibility or asking "what did we do wrong or how could we have prevented this," enabled by people that want to stand against racism which really just means they throw their vote behind anyone black regardless of the outcome and facts, I see a very bad trend.
I'll be blunt, I wouldn't want these folks as my neighbors.
Evil scum.
I hope every moment of their entire life is filled with agonizing pain.
Acting as it was lawful to respond to a mere push on the shoulder with a blade plunged into a boy’s chest, piercing his sternum, his pericardium, and his right atrium. These people do not belong among us. They are incorrigible. They are morally bankrupt. They are filled with lies and hatred.
They are the epitome of the stereotype: sub-80 IQ Epigenetic Tribalist racist, lawless, bastards.
Obama, this is on you, you bastard son of a whore Communist scum.
“[Karmelo] did everything by the law and just look at where we’re at.”
Where does the LAW say you can stab someone in the heart killing them for absolutely no reason other than racist hate and just walk away without any consequences? No wonder Karmelo was a racist nut job, just look at his parents, his family and friends, accordingly, they’re all extreme racists.

Your misbegotten spawn murdered a kid after your misbegotten spawn went out of his way to stir up trouble ... that's what happened. You raised him to be that way ... take some personal responsibility, why don't you!
Oh.
Yeah.
There is no "personal responsibility" in the so-called "black community".
I don't know if they are stupid or deluded enough to actually believe it ... but that is precisely the defense they offered to the murder charge.
When it is done in self-defense. And that's what they claimed both before and during trial.
The facts did not support their claim, and their misbegotten spawn was, accordingly, convicted of murder. Now he's going to prison. Where he belongs. Boo-Hoo.
Wow. Just wow. The level of delusion, blinded by racism, is where these people "are at".
This is a terrible, terrible thing by itself.
But what it portends, with decades of allowing Leftists in general, and blacks (or any other subset of Leftism such as homosexuals, trannsexuals, et al) to do to themselves by pandering to them that what they "feel" drives, and can for them, become reality, is dire.
This is just one small piece, these delusional "parents" (if they can be characterized as such for the upbringing they gave him) but with regards to the Leftist community writ large is both tragic and corrosively destructive.
If these foul folk want to see racists, they should look at each other.
Ask Metcalfe's parents how cruel the world can be.
How can we possibly coexist with people having this level of stupidity?
I am assuming they thought stand your ground laws allowed you to stab someone in the heart when they ask you to please get out of their assigned seating area
“Nope, 35 years sounds reasonable a time for Anthony to think about what he did...”
Of their own making. Who care how they feel? They are heartless like their kid.
I cannot with the blubbering drama. 🙄
Your son was a nightmare.
Although if he was considering walking out. He wouldn't have taken a knife in with him in the first place.
There’s no coexisting with these savages.
It’s simply not possible.
