This GOP Holdout Is Now on Board With the SAVE America Act(Susan Collins)

Collins initially supported the SAVE America Act in February. But when Sen. Graham tried to get the measure passed by using an amendment to bundle it into a budget reconciliation/immigration funding package, she voted against it. The issue was that it was reportedly combined with other controversial elements in the broader package.

If Collins maintains her support for the bill, the remaining holdouts include Sens. Murkowski, Tillis, and McConnell.

This is more important than Carmelo Anthony. It seems Linda's the reason it's been on hold.

Now we need to get rid of Harry Reid’s parliamentarian who won’t let the SAVE Act stuff be included in a different bill that can pass with 51 votes.

Thune is unwilling to get rid of her, and that, right now, is what stands in the way of this.

All 3 are contemptible.

Maybe the obscene and brazen theft in LA can move the needle. The whole knows it was stolen and the rats didn’t care how bad it looked

The SAVE ACT will literally save the American voting process, on the federal level at least.

But if GOP leadership won’t take the bold step of suspending the Senate filibuster, then it doesn’t matter if Collins is on board or not.

And here is a major reason why the SAVE ACT needs to be passed immediately.

Utah who is holding primary election today is doing the same thing with mail-in ballots as California. And by the way, USPS does not date stamp prepaid envelopes.

“””Vote by Mail
Elections in Salt Lake County are conducted mainly by mail. Ballots are mailed to active, registered voters 21 days prior to an election, according to Utah State law.

The post office does not forward ballots. If you need your ballot mailed to an address other than the address where you are registered to vote, contact the Salt Lake County Election Office.

To receive a mail-in ballot you must be registered to vote no later than eleven days before an election.

Mail in ballots may be returned in one of these three ways:

Option 1: Return by Mail
Return it by mail in the postage-paid return envelope provided in your ballot packet.

To be valid, your ballot must be in the clerk’s possession by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. This deadline has recently changed, so make sure to mail your ballot early.””””

Collins is a moron. What is her problem with protecting the borders?

Don’t overlook Utah’s election scams. See my post #9

What’s bad is that it can be stolen legally in CA. (See https://x.com/townhallcom/status/2064112857080320456 )The SAVE Act would stop that.

What that post doesn’t also mention is that in CA you don’t have to use any unique identifier to register online, so they have no way of knowing whether you’re a real person or not. You are given a unique voter # for any name/address combo you present. You could present 100 different name/address combos and each one would receive a ballot. You could be Mickey Mouse or any other name; you don’t have to prove that you exist to get a ballot.

That’s what this system allows, legally.

It’s a sick, sick joke. And the rest of us Americans are held hostage by whatever politicians this corrupt system “chooses”. We can’t do anything about it. UNLESS WE PASS THE SAVE ACT.

Tillis and McConnell are lame ducks. They will not be running in the midterm elections

Seems a little odd for Collins to be the one to cave here. It’s nothing but theater because they’ll never get to 60 votes, nor ever make it so that only 50+Vance are required.

So this may swing the votes of the 5 or 10 actual conservative voters in Maine, but alienate exponentially more non-conservatives.

We are TOLD that “ate-y purrsent of voterz want thiss!” (SAVE Act) but that’s probably not close to being true once the details are known, and this clearly calculated move by Collins reveals that the GOP is taking the anecdotal “Platner can’t win!” crap way too literally.

We all know what Collins is, and we all know what Maine is. She’s the best we can do there so just hold your nose, etc. That much is true.

So Collins suddenly pretending to be a conservative isn’t the smartest thing for her re-election chances. The SAVE Act is gong nowhere in John Thune’s Senate, so why should she even bother with this charade? All risk, no reward.

The ONLY way this passes is through the filibuster, we dont have enough votes..Im not sure what this “Reconciliation” means but whatever it takes to get it passed, this is the most important bill that will EVER be passed, EVER. The Dems considered Obamacare to be the most important bill they ever passed, this must be ours, PERIOD..get it done NOW

Raman lost her own district(apparently she represents Sherman Oaks, heck I NEVER knew this woman represented anything thats how I have and most have NO clue who she is) she did get some legitimate votes, but the majority of her voters came from the homeless population. They registered the homeless and voted in their names that simple

If this bill were about a new socialized healthcare system or funding a forever middle east war or spying on Americans or a tax break for oligarchs...they could definitely find the votes to get it done.

If it is about fixing the broken electoral system or immigration system or funding DHS, sorry. There are bigger priorities.
