A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where footage from the scene appeared to show an attempted beheading. The suspect was arrested after bystanders intervened.
The incident was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Monday on Kinnaird Avenue in north Belfast, where officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland responded to a stabbing.
Police said one man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A second man was arrested in connection with the incident.
Graphic footage posted by witnesses showed the suspect on top of the victim in the middle of the road as bystanders shouted and tried to intervene.
The video appeared to show the attacker making repeated motions toward the victim’s head and neck area before several people rushed in, including one person who struck the suspect with an object.

The BBC reports that the attacker is Sudanese. And since Sudan is 97% Muslim, I’ll go out on a limb and say he’s also a Muslim.
The really sick and sad thing is that the headline did not surprise me. Another day, another Muslim attack.
How far the pathetic West has fallen!
When, oh when, will we get serious about war with Islam.

Unrelenting war.
War to return cave men and women to their caves.
Oh, and I expect the following government pronouncements soon:
- The attacker is a lone wolf.
- The attacker has mental issues (so not his fault).
- The attacker felt isolated (society’s fault).
- More knife control!

Good thing self defense is banned there - otherwise someone might have gotten hurt!

You’re “injured” when you fall down and hit your head. When some ignorant savage tries to kill you with a knife, you’re “wounded”.

Even pepper spray is banned. The British police advise folks to carry a whistle for self-defense. And that’s it.
Whistle guy vs. knife guy. I’m gonna bet on the knife guy every time.
Oh, but it gets even worse, and even sillier. There is now a movement in the UK to ban pointed knives everywhere. Not just in public, but everywhere - including in homes.
Criminals don’t obey the law. So that would be just one more law for them to ignore.
Diversity is our strength.
Black on white attack.
Muslim on Christian attack.
“Immigrant” on native Irish attack.
I guess those narratives are all forbidden in Ireland.
