2023. Immediately after her interview with Trump was broadcast, Kristen Welker "fact checked" Trump about his Jan 6th claim that the Mayor of DC had called for the National Guard and that they were turned away.Welker apparently forgot about her reporting from January 5th, 2021

All I can think of is Trump wanted to create this drama to distract from some other drama. He’s pretty good at making that happen at will. He must have known that (bi-racial) Kristin is one of the media’s ‘Favorite Daughters’ right now.
Kristen and the President have encountered each other before, mainly on Oct. 22, 2020, at the final debate in the presidential election.
I would disagree. He behavior only confirmed what those with TDS already know - that she is one of them. Following the interview - those with TDS will continue to have TDS. RINOs will continue being RINOs and MAGA will continue to support Trump. Possibly, some people will have been red pilled and saw in her that TDS is real.
