'We are sorry for handcuffing and arresting Henry' - police chief constable
BBC ^ | June 3 | BBC

The head of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary tells the BBC the force is "sorry for handcuffing and arresting Henry".

In an interview with the BBC's Lucy Manning, Chief Constable Alexis Boon says the bodycam footage of Henry Nowak being arrested and handcuffed after telling officers he had been stabbed was a "very difficult watch".

"What was filmed there is a tragedy, an absolute tragedy, you can't help but be affected by it."

He adds: "I really feel for the family of Henry at this time."

The chief constable says he understands "their point of view and why they're upset with the police", which he says is why the force have said "we are sorry for handcuffing and arresting Henry" at that time.

Shouldn’t make too light about this but the chief constable’s response is reminiscent of a Monty Python ‘oh so sorry’ sketch...

Did he add, “We’ll try to do better next time.”

There have been protests about this matter. The Chief commented on them thusly:

“While we are forced to deal with those determined to spark fear and division, our finite resources are taken away from those who need it most.”

Well, Chief, your Citizens were forced to ‘deal with’ your incompetent, snotty, warped little officers, and this has resulted in one of them being murdered. You want to ‘spark fear and division’? That’s how you spark fear and division. The police have created a situation in which the people they serve are not protected. The people realize this, and protest. The police respond by attacking them, and accusing them of making the community unsafe. Pretty ballsy...

By his appearance, the chief constable is a native Englishman, as is Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The British police forces, including those in Scotland and Wales, are the equivalent of the Stasi in East Germany or the State Protective Service in Hungary, enforcement arms of a communist regime. As with the secret police agencies of the Warsaw Pact countries, the British police forces are largely staffed with descendants of the people who have inhabited the island for millennia. As of March 2024, 91.6% of police officers were white, compared to 3.8% Asian, 2.6% mixed, and 1.3% black. Assuming there are some Irish and other European immigrants to Britain on the forces, the vast majority of the white constables are likely English, Scottish, and Welsh, in other words men and women whose distant forbears were native to the soil. These constables are selling out their own people for a paycheck and a pension.

Heck yes! Or if not resign - be fired.

“What was filmed there is a tragedy, an absolute tragedy, you can’t help but be affected by it.”

An earthquake is a tragedy. This was not a tagedy. It was incompetence and IMHO race based anti-white murder. All in involved should go to prison!

The apology should be “We fully recognize that our wokeness caused the death of Henry and there are no words that can justify our actions. Everyone involved will resign immediately, and frankly we should be sued for complete negligence and incompetence”

But of course they won’t and instead they spit in the face of the victims by saying ‘we understand their point of view” Really? It’s MORE than their ‘point of view” it’s FACTS based on what happened! Negligence and reckless wokeness that resulted in death!

Bull. He’s sorry the world got to see it. He’s sorry he couldn’t do more to help an immigrant get away with murdering a citizen.

You apologize when you make a mistake. As in, “I forgot to buy bread. Sorry about that.”

The police did not make a mistake here. They *deliberately* ignored what a dying Henry Nowak was saying, and handcuffed him.

That’s not a mistake. That’s depraved indifference to human life.

Hearing the irresponsible Police Chief talk about the “Tragedy,”
and that he “feels” for the family..... is not nearly enough.

The brutal killing was not merely a ‘tragedy’.

It was a shocking display of l/e incompetence, hubris, wokeness,
and a foreigner’s unmitigated malice and vengeful lies
that ended the life of a young man.

“this is more about the culture than the one officer. They’re trained like this now I believe”

Yes, the policing culture is rotten to the core. There is no doubt they are trained that way and following their training. Can the UK be saved? It looks increasingly doubtful.

If they were serious they would announce a countrywide training program. Instead they are concerned about divisive protests. They are only sorry it came to light. Their police are worse than the Gestapo.

This is what forced multi-culturalism and cancel culture have caused. The police were terrified of being called racist, so they took the word of the actual murderer, rather than helping a wounded man and investigating what truly happened. We saw a lot of this during the Biden years when Leftist policies ran amok. Thankfully, our country is healing a bit.

They just need better training in relating to stabbing effects and victims. I suggest that like tear gas/pepper spray training for police, every one of these bobbies, their managers and the judges and lawyers in the case needed to be stabbed during their training and they would have conducted themselves differently. /𝜇s
