For a company headquartered near Seattle, WA, why is this a surprise?
Most groups (probably all) who cry “equal rights” actually want special rights.
There are VERY few gay or black customers of REI.

Exactly. I would say the vast majority of people don’t care what two consenting adults do in their own bedroom, house, whatever. It’s when you demand I give you some form of special attention, for simply doing something different in the bedroom is where most people have an issue.
