World losing 100 million barrels a week of oil with Hormuz closed, Saudi Aramco chief says
Notes disconnect between oil futures prices and physical reality, and warns about ‘demand ‌rationing’

Global oil markets are losing 100 million barrels every week that the Strait of Hormuz is closed, as a result of the US-Israeli war on Iran, the head of Saudi Arabia’s state oil producer said on Monday.

“The energy supply shock that began in the first quarter is the largest the world has ever experienced,” Saudi Aramco chief executive officer Amin Nasser told analysts on an earnings call.

Nasser said the world is coping with the shock through “demand rationing” of available supplies.

“We expect demand ‌rationing to continue as long as supply remains disrupted through the Strait of Hormuz. If normal trade and shipping resume, we anticipate a very robust return to demand growth,” Nasser said.

Energy analysts have already said the collapse of oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz is being felt unevenly, with countries in Asia that are almost totally dependent on the Gulf for their oil, rationing. In the West, particularly in the US, energy prices have risen, but there have been no measures to restrict consumption.

No, we don’t have the ground forces to take over Iran, especially not with the foreign mercenaries there now. As frustrating as this slow-motion win is, it’s the only way to get a win. Trump has said from the start that the Iranians would have to take back their country. All this pain is to get Artesh to realize the only way to save the country is by eliminating the IRGC.

They’re scattered like cockroaches so they need targeted locally.

Same here, tired of giving the lefties an inch to trash Trump when we could have ended this a month or more ago. All the while we are the ones paying the price for it.

***seriously can we just bomb their asses already so sick of the nonsense could have been done with them a month ago, all the stalling, its a joke already***

Unhappily they know, and we know, that Prez Trump is not going to return to bombing. Trump's 'strategy' escapes me. We totally disarm their military and then offer to 'negotiate'. 🤔❓ Negotiate what? If one of these fanatics remains alive: THEY ARE WINNING! They are going to wipe us out!

Meantime the people of America and the people of Israel bear the burden of this incomprehensible strategy. Every day Hezbollah violates the cease fire while Israel is bound by it. Nearly everyday the IRGC violates the ceasefire... while trump demonstrates his infinite patience.

Israel is dying and the American people are struggling with high fuel prices which is driving inflation back to painful levels - but Trump claims the ceasefire is holding and continues - for another 60 days - to 'negotiate' with someone - someone who cannot be identified. The midterm elections are looming and the violent Left is disrupting social order... we will give negotiations another 60 days.

I am at a complete loss. 🤷 I am wearing thin. If we had negotiated with Japan in 1945 we would all be speaking Japanese today.
