The Pratt Effect.
I believe so. Also, the Judicial Watch (Tom Fitton) voter purge. Also, self deportation and actual deportations. Also, some tightening of voter fraud. Finally, some actual willingness to change.
If there is a way to prevent it, Democrats must not be allowed to keep the vote “curing” and counting open for weeks, as they did in the Orange County area House races. They stole 5 or 6 House seats this way in 2024.
Reporting % means next to nothing
It’s got both % and total votes cast.
Total votes are up significantly.

Not a Pratt effect. This is total votes in a state with 23,112,854 registered voters. LA would probably account for about 20% of that total.
Total votes are up siginficantly due to the large number of real candidates in the race. About 8 to 10 candidates who have a shot at getting to the second round (not counting the 50 plus wanbees).
Although the population of California has been level or decreasing the number of registered votes 8 years ago was 18,854,829. 4.5 million increase in a state losing population shows that people are more engaged. This can be seen across the country.
The numbers I used.

What do the colored bubbles mean. A chart with no labels means nothing.
