Sir Paul McCartney has finally named an artist he would rank alongside his former band – pop queen Taylor Swift.
In an interview with BBC Radio 2’s Tracks Of My Years, the 83-year-old music veteran expressed his admiration for the American pop singer, describing her as “clever” and a “very good” performer...
He said: “You do see the parallel of the amount of fame and the worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had [as the Beatles]…
But Swift questioned comparisons with the Beatles during an interview in December.
Stephen Colbert, the host of The Late Show, suggested that the reception to her must have been similar to the rock band, to which she responded: “I don’t know, I think they had a whole thing going.”

In 2009, the Beatles catalogue was remastered led by Giles Martin, George's son.
New vinyl was re-cut using these new master tapes as well as new 24/44 digital downloads.
The original tapes were maintained so well and were so pristine, only 5% of the music required noise reduction.
A few years later, Giles began re-mixing/re-mastering the later albums from the 4-track original studio masters for even higher sound quality in 24/96 digital files.
The newer 24/96 music files are VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The Beatles are far bigger than Taylor Swift. Bigger impact. More talented. Bigger depth.
Taylor seems to be the same depth. Not really deep. Some song over and over. I’ve listened to a lot of her songs. Not much to her.
Paul might be losing it. Briefly read a thread here that he wants to do a posthumous collaboration with Prince.
