Remember when everyone thought Ferrari was cool? Not anymore.
Yes, even the manufacturer who once furnished Magnum P.I. with his sweet red convertible has gone electric.
Here's a video announcement of the car if you want to see the fine details:
Needless to say, the internet was not universally excited by the electric Ferrari reveal.
Who wouldn't want to shell out (checks notes) $640,000 for an electric sports car? Don't worry, though. This model is sure to die a quick death and be relegated to the dustbin of automotive history.
On a positive note, this toy-looking electric Ferrari is almost certainly a sign that we're in the end times.
Come quickly, Lord!

Is this fully-electric or a hybrid? I would think that Ferrari could get away with hybrid with an ICE still on-board. Keonigsegg makes hybrids that will outdo anything Ferrari makes. Of course, it helps that Keonigsegg builds the hybrid around an ICE that pretty much requires aviation fuel to run properly. They aren’t designed to be a green machine.
Good lord that’s ugly. What are those engineers smoking?
These wraps are significantly more expensive and durable than commercial offerings and require different application process to ensure they stay put at speed.
Todays useless trivia. :-)
Too bad you couldn't get that on film. That's a pretty rare occasion these days considering gasoline cars are 61 times more likely to catch fire than EVS.
I think you confused my post with someone else. All I said, is that Allstate removed charging stations from their parking garages...
“Electric vehicles should be banned, but Elon has too much political clout.”
________
There’s bumper stickers I’ve seen on Teslas around town here that state: “We bought this car before we knew Elon was crazy.”
Talk about stupid people.
Anyhow, I like that we’re developing electric vehicles, just don’t agree with forcing them onto the marketplace or essentially outlawing the combustion engines with over-regulation.
Did I say anything about safety or fires?
Haha my daughter is mid-30’s and she is in charge of processing clinical trials data for new cancer drugs for a large hospital. She began driving my car in high school and has a flawless driving record.
The exterior painting on the two cars that were shown looked like some kind of movie hoax.
Since nothing has been mentioned about the designers, I am thinking females, or non-whites, or both.
A Ferrari has to be RED. When I got out of college, I wanted to one day own a red Ferrari and an Aston Martin Corniche classic. Reagan was president.
A quality assurance inspector at my last employer had a baby blue Tesla…….fit her quite well.
I have to see that Ferrari in red to judge. It is not a bad looking car….probably goes from zero to 100 mph in 6 seconds.
Fugly
Butt F’n Ugly...I’ll buy an EV when they have their own reactors and can run for a decade or so.
Risky!
I hate posting from my phone.
A 4-door Ferrari?
End times, for sure!
>Woof! A real dog.
“Ex-Apple chief designer Jony Ive and his creative agency spearheaded the design of Luce”
Oh.
Now that everyone hates it, it’s time to run right out and buy one as prices drop through the floor.
dragged?
