Remember when everyone thought Ferrari was cool? Not anymore.
Yes, even the manufacturer who once furnished Magnum P.I. with his sweet red convertible has gone electric.
Here's a video announcement of the car if you want to see the fine details:
Needless to say, the internet was not universally excited by the electric Ferrari reveal.
Who wouldn't want to shell out (checks notes) $640,000 for an electric sports car? Don't worry, though. This model is sure to die a quick death and be relegated to the dustbin of automotive history.
On a positive note, this toy-looking electric Ferrari is almost certainly a sign that we're in the end times.
Come quickly, Lord!

A Ferrari for Beta’s.
Fugly!
Try and wrap your head around post 25
Woof! A real dog.
Nose from Battlestar Galactica, tail end 1980s Camero, body style roughly Delorean but no gull doors.
Zero Italian style.
Specs suggest the super is there for supercar but …. Arf arf arf.
Now Hamilton will have a car to fit his lifestyle.
Every 5th car on the road around here is a Subaru. That's a lot to avoid! My family owns a few of them. When you live in snow country, the labels go out the window. I see Subarus with US Marine and NRA stickers on them all the time.
No thanks....not impressed. If I was worth $10 billion my dream car would be a Porsche Panamera. A few years back we were in Dubai and went to The Mall of Dubai (an amazing place) and, when walking to the main entrance,we walked by the valet parking (located, surprisingly, right there in the open for everyone to see) and we saw a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse ($2 million) parked right there. It had Saudi plates...which makes sense. Dubai is where rich Saudis go to play. The UAE’s moslem laws aren’t as strict as are the laws in Saudi.
I really like the 296 GTB.
This one, NOPE.
Same sin as an electric Harley!
“I could do robins egg blue on an actual REAL car!”
Dresden Blue Poly (Paint Code 24).
Better watch out the group that identifies with Subarus may take issue and key their cars. LOL.
Panameras that are in the 2010 - 2015 range can be had for $10-20K. How much maintaining them is another question but one doesn’t have be that rich to get one.
“If I was worth $10 billion my dream car would be a Porsche Panamera.”
$10 Billion? I would set my sights a little higher?
OK...they don't age well. I've been driving German cars for 20 years and that's been my experience but for the first 50,000 miles I've been thrilled with them. And as for setting my sights higher...I,like my Depression era Dad,have always lived below my means. A $2 million Bugatti or a $500,000 Ferrari doesn't excite me. It would just make me a bigger target of some kidnapping plot.
Better that Ferrari makes an EV on its own than being forced to by the Fascist EU.
Right now I prefer Lamborghini styling better
On YouTube if you search “Monaco exotic cars and beautiful women” you get tons of glimpses of exotics and super exotics on podcasts
It’s entertaining
Lots of two million plus cars out there and a half dozen approaching 300 mph now
Several hyper exotics besides Bugatti
https://youtu.be/TMeCW23tKc4?si=REDt2eMNJMC5EdT8
Many exotic cars today are no longer actually painted
They are wrapped in about any color u can think of
I didn’t know this till recently
Carroll Shelby is still laughing at him.
