Remember when everyone thought Ferrari was cool? Not anymore.
Yes, even the manufacturer who once furnished Magnum P.I. with his sweet red convertible has gone electric.
Here's a video announcement of the car if you want to see the fine details:
Needless to say, the internet was not universally excited by the electric Ferrari reveal.
Who wouldn't want to shell out (checks notes) $640,000 for an electric sports car? Don't worry, though. This model is sure to die a quick death and be relegated to the dustbin of automotive history.
On a positive note, this toy-looking electric Ferrari is almost certainly a sign that we're in the end times.
Come quickly, Lord!

Fagarri!
And looks 20 years behind the times, UGLY!
Why would you buy that when you can get a Tesla for 1/10 the price?
I don’t recall ever seeing a baby blue Ferrari before. Other colours for sure and of course the famous red. I’m sure there has been the odd one but I don’t recall. Same with pink.
Why would you buy a Tesla when you can buy a real car for less? Electric vehicles should be banned, but Elon has too much political clout
Unless it’s a Fiat, that color shouldn’t even be legal on an Italian car.
It don’t look bad, it just doesn’t look like a Ferrari.............
Not ugly, but it’s also not $640K good looking either.
Enzo is rolling in his grave.
Electric vehicles have a purpose, just like a Subaru, it identifies the owner as someone with issues and to be avoided.
It’d be a cool color on something big and clunky like a Mercedes G wagon or an Ineos Grenadier
It actually kinda looks like a Tesla to me.
One thing for sure, that blue is hideous.
I’ve seen it on ‘vette’s, mustangs and other sports cars and it’s just butt ugly IMO.
As ugly as Hillary Clinton waking up in a pool of her own vomit November 9, 201 and every Wednesday thereafter.
You want the government to ban a product millions of people love and aren’t forcing you to buy? How fascistic of you.
I’m pretty neutral as to EV’s and their use. However, if Ferrari has included some of their F! gimmicks in this thing, it could be real fast. At least for a short ways.
An otherwise nice looking car ruined by the fact that it doesn’t have a trailer hitch. What are they thinking?
We must hurry up and buy one before they quit making them so that we have a high depreciating vehicle with no parts available and possibly uninsurable.
No thanks. No also to Tesla, Volt and Prius.
