It’s more than I’m used to seeing, for sure. Though “thoughts and prayers” is boilerplate/cliche at this point.
Some groups think they don’t think they need to issue statements because there is no internal impulse (what they do aligns with their values) and zero external compulsion.
Fairly decent. But it should have said “tragic murder”, and not ‘tragic death’ (almost makes it sound like an accident). Also some words of condemnation for the murderer, and his accomplice family, who attempted to cover up the crime, would have been appropriate.
IOWs “Please don’t take our knives away even though the rest of you are prohibited from having them.”
murdered by how many — which should of course include the facilitating establishment pigs
I was surprised it was a Sikh that did this. Not their typical behavior. Mozlems yes. Sikhs, no.
Unfortunately, due to how lackluster the official data is, it's hard to tell. But available media/community reports indicate the following:
Excluding a few bombed passenger jets, Sikhs are apparently very peaceful.
Would appreciate having some examples of sincere behavior of Muslims after a murder or massacre.
If the Sikhs has "leaned out" and risked saying more (e.g., "...this tragic MURDER...") they might have risked contaminating the potential pool of jurors.
The murderer's attorneys* would have rubbed their hands in glee if the Sikh community had been harsher in its statement.
(Yes, I realize: Barristers!)
Regards,
And I add: The behavior of the community from which the murderer came acted admirably in this instance. More than can be said for the Muslim community after comparable/similar incidents.
Regards,
Don’t anyone hold their breath over a Sikh statement about untrained Sikh semi-truck drivers hired by Sikh-run trucking companies killing Americans on our highways. Apparently only when it’s a knife.
or “solicitor” (instead of lawyer)
Do you have many Sikhs in your part of the UK?
I thought the very same thing! Not like them to do something like this. They’re hell in a firefight though!!!
FR posted-——According to evidence presented at Southampton Crown Court, Nowak noticed the “peace-loving” Sikh had a large ceremonial Sikh knife — a kirpan with a 21cm blade — that Digwa was carrying openly displayed in a sheath over his clothing.
Digwa then allegedly stabbed Nowak four times, including a deep wound to the chest that punctured a lung and wounds to the back of his legs.
As Henry collapsed and bled heavily, Digwa told arriving Hampshire Police officers that he had been racially abused and attacked by a “drunken” man who was “stumbling a little”.
Officers handcuffed the visibly injured teenager.
Bodycam footage shown in court captured Henry protesting that he had been stabbed and struggling to breathe while restrained. He soon lost consciousness.
The UK knife ban is a weird thing. They’d have kittens if they saw my kitchen knives. I have a couple big ones.
Correct. Every “community” has its bad actors. Sikhs don’t have a track record of senselessly slaughtering people who don’t agree with them or aren’t like them. Same with Hindus and Buddhists. I don’t agree with any of these groups theology, however, they don’t bother me from a safety standpoint. Muslims, not so much. Their book instructs them to be violent animals.
I don't think the cops responsible for his death were Sikhs. If I was defending the stabber on a murder charge, I would argue that the wounds were survivable if the cops hadn't forced the assault victim to choke to death on his own blood, and the cops should be the ones on trial.
Now we wait for them condemning the Americans murdered by their illegal shipping companies using illegal alien drivers....right?
