Blockbuster poll. This is the biggest special election I can remember.

Reform UK are trying to deny Burnham a seat in parliament and ultimately chances of him being Prime Minister

Restore are kind of splitting the vote or peeling off some support.

That could prove costly.

That guy with the Restore Party has to intentionally be trying to help the ruling establishment. He will screw the UK for a generation if he pulls votes from the Reform party.

Blockbuster?

How can you tell with no methodology offered?

As for the outfit conducting it...

Reads like Deep State to me.

Who conducted the poll? Are they normally picking Labour to win. After the crushing defeat by the Reform UK in I guess it was local elections, I would think that would carry over to the Reform UK person running for the Parliment seat as well.

I understand very little of UK eelections, due to lack of interest to be honest. Europe is lost, and it isn't to Russia, it's due to self-destruction to the nth degree.

Meanwhile, from Rupert Lowe...

Sod it. For the purposes of full transparency, here are our canvassing returns from Makerfield that we’ve had back so far from the door knocking today.

1,010 sample size.

24.6% for Restore Britain.

31.2% definitely against.

24.2% undecided.

20% considering.

Excluding won’t votes.

More teams coming back, so the sample size will grow a lot in the next few hours.

Largely agrees with what we’ve found over the last week - astounding response with the working class, more difficult with wealthier areas. To be honest.

Labour are the opponent in the fancier places, Reform with the working class.

Our campaign has just taken off. Great name recognition already, but clearly room to grow.

Let’s see what happens.

But we’re very happy with progress.

Makerfield is 97 percent White, and strongly supported Brexit.

If Reform can’t win a majority there they are not viable as an opposition and are just gatekeeping and containment.
