Is Prison the Best Place for Certain Prominent Democrats?

Reports last week confirmed that former special counsel Jack Smith “secretly arranged” to preserve evidence in his criminal cases against President Trump in order to maintain the threat of future prosecution once the president leaves office. This is not a big surprise. Democrats have thrown every civic norm out the window in their ruthless efforts to target Trump’s businesses and send him to prison for life.

eports last week confirmed that former special counsel Jack Smith “secretly arranged” to preserve evidence in his criminal cases against President Trump in order to maintain the threat of future prosecution once the president leaves office. This is not a big surprise. Democrats have thrown every civic norm out the window in their ruthless efforts to target Trump’s businesses and send him to prison for life.

In his quest to imprison an American president, Jack Smith accused Trump of engaging in a conspiracy to “overthrow” the 2020 election, as well as retaining possession of classified documents after leaving the White House. Both allegations are ridiculous, and Smith’s own words make him sound like a lawfare hitman and anti-MAGA zealot. He told members of Congress in January, “Our investigation revealed that Donald Trump is the person who caused Jan. 6, it was foreseeable to him, and that he sought to exploit the violence.” Smith stated emphatically that Trump committed “serious crimes.”

Serious crimes? You mean like using the FBI to spy on all the Republican presidential primary candidates in 2015 and 2016? Oh right, that was President Obama. Or fabricating intelligence in order to justify a counterintelligence operation against candidate Trump? Oh, that was Obama’s corrupt CIA director, John Brennan. Or paying British Intelligence operatives to manufacture a fake “Russia collusion” dossier implicating Trump? Oh, that was Hillary Clinton.

Still waiting to see what the grand jury in South Florida does.

100%! Even the “country club” prisons would work for me.

Yes, but when has a high-profile Democrat even been arrested for anything?

Guantanamo, baby. Perhaps PDJT has plans for Guantanamo once the takeover of Cuba is complete.

James Comey was arrested for his 8647 threat against President Trump. We will have to see what the grand jury in South Florida does.

Trump can either imprison these people or leave them free to attack him, and his family, down the road. I would think the choice would be an easy one to make.

While I would prefer Nuremberg style trials and the gallows, Gitmo would do since we don’t have the political will to treat them like the murderous Nazis that they are.

State or federal mental facility, behind the sally port and razor wire. Complete behavior mod.

From the article: “Nothing will change until prominent Democrats are prosecuted and convicted for their crimes. Until then, it’s open season on all of us.”

Close, but no cigar. History has shown us that unpunished criminality by a Democrat becomes the floor for criminality by future Democrats. For example, Hillary illegally obtained 92 FBI folders of her political enemies. That crime went unpunished. In the Obama administration, the FBI ran over 200,000 illegal searches to obtain information on their political enemies.

Unless Comer et al do serious prison time, that 200K illegal searches will be the floor for criminality by the next Democrat administration.

I agree that a quick dispatch would be best. There's something inherently cruel about forcing us to subsidize their existence after everything they've done.

The punishment for crimes against the Republic must be death.

Until they die they will always be a threat.

I vote for a bulletproof, clear cage, temperature controlled, with plumbing, and as minimally comfortable as possible, on display in their district or in DC.

A whole block of them.

No internet.

"Is Prison the Best Place for Certain Prominent Democrats?"

No!

Following their trial, conviction and sentencing, the best place for Demonicrats is on a platform as they start to work as a one-time rope tester.

They impeached him after he left office the last time. Nothing would be a surprise at this point.
