Marjorie Taylor Greene erupts after Thomas Massie loses Kentucky primary: ‘Future of Republican Party destroyed’

WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene decried the downfall of her onetime colleague Rep. Thomas Massie following his GOP primary defeat Tuesday night.

Greene (R-Ga.), who had allied with Massie (R-Ky.) to force the release of Justice Department files on late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, argued that his defeat by President Trump-supported Ed Gallrein was a death knell to the party.

“I am proud and thankful to have served in the US House of Representatives with my friend Thomas Massie, a giant among weak pathetic men. Releasing the Epstein files was our demise,” she moaned on X.

“You are ruled by the Epstein class that cares nothing about you and your elected leaders are bought and controlled by a foreign lobby,” she added. “Tonight the future of the Republican Party was destroyed.”

“The Real America First Movement will rise led by the younger generations, who hate the old guard with an unquenchable passion. Let us pray that we have a country left by the time these creatures are gone.”

It reminds you of Father Coughlin in the 1930s and Rev. Carl McIntyre and Rev. Billy James Hargis in the 1960s: big radio audiences but no significant impact on politics.

The FCC was literally established with the Communications Act in 1934 to curb and regulate radio broadcasters like Fr. Coughlin. He also got the National Association of Broadcasters to create their self-regulated Code Committee to try and censor controversy. His Golden Hour show was eventually cancelled, and the DOJ told his archbishop that they would not prosecute him for sedition if he stopped publication of the "Social Justice" periodical and all political activities (and note that this was after the FBI raided his church in 1942 and seized his effects).

Hargis, meanwhile, was the catalyst for what eventually became "Red Lion Broadcasting Co. v. FCC", the SCOTUS case which upheld the constitutionality of the FCC's Fairness Doctrine.

So I would argue that their political impact was far more wide-reaching than you'd think at first glance.

“”””Greene should chill.
The boomers who vote will get old and pass on...
The young people will decide the future.
We are fine.””””

That is why the Democratic Party is pushing the 16 year old vote.

Bull schiff.

Lindsay Graham isn’t trying to resist the Trump agenda.

Maybe he’s leveraged and really wants to stay in Congress instead of trying to make it on the View or as a speaker at Islamic Centers around the world.

Lindsay Graham isn’t trying to resist the Trump agenda.

If the current "Trump agenda" gets no complaints from the likes of Lindsey Graham or pro-amnesty pushers like Maria Salazar and Mike Lawler, that should bother you.

‘Future of Republican Party destroyed’

I've been saying that for three years.

The GOP has no future, for the same reasons as the UK Conservative and Union Party has no future.

Labour has 400+ Members in the House of Commons because the Conservative Party committed suicide.

When Labour gets kicked out, it will be Reform/Restore that does the kicking.

Same here. Save the insults, talk to me after November 3.

She should go ahead and just join the Libertarian or Democrat Parties and run in their parties if she wants to stay in politics.

1. What is “the Trump agenda” these days, anyway? And what has Graham done to help advance it?

2. The biggest reason the GOP refuses to eliminate the filibuster is that it protects people like Lindsey Graham by letting them sit in the majority and vote in favor of bills that never get passed into law.

She likely said this from Costa Rica while living on a government pension she only worked for to the day she qualified for it.

Antiwar right???

Massie has voted for EVERY agenda item Trump has put forward: the tax bill, the border wall funding, stopping the transgender surgery on minors, etc. None of those have a thing to do with war.

He is merely an attention whore who wants to stay in the news and be talked about.

Massie was the incumbent who lost by ten points. It was the voters who got sick of him.

On the positive side she did keep the gulaged J6 victims in the public conscious and kept on the other Reps cases for ignoring their plight.

Secondly, she stepped out when she flipped out instead of hanging on forever like too many politicians do.

Massie, like Rand Paul and his father, have never been Republicans, but libertarians running under Republican party to get elected.
So future of Republicans looks better now.

I have a very strong suspicion that when it comes to Israel, massie, rand and his daddy are all on the same page.

Getting way ahead of your skis....

You are currently in mourning because a primary loss of your favorite Congress critter, and grasping for any TDS line...

I currently have evidence of a declared invasion.
A closed border.
Zero releases.

And a pending birthright citizenship case in front of the Supreme Coup Court that may or may not determine what has to happen...

Pace yourself.

The Trump train in 2025 forward appears to have an option where people can lead, follow, or get out of the way..

Your buddy Lindsay Graham appears to have made a choice not to get run over by a train.

who hate the old guard with an unquenchable passion

Look sista, I have hated the old guard with a purple passion since before I turned 18 and before I turned the then voting age of 21.

Didn't hate enough to go crazy and fall behind the likes of Fonda, Hayden, and SDS.

The ONLY time in my lifetime that I felt the old guard that I have always hated was put on the defense was whenTrump came along.

And the Shadow Gubmint which is the TRUE old guard have done everything they could to take him down and even take him out and Trump is still standing, still fighting ANYONE who is an enemy of Our Free Republic even if it is those in the Republican Wing of the uniparty that have thrown in with the darkside.
