California sees massive surge in Republican votes as more than 900K ballots already returned

Could the state of California actually be turning red?

Early voters in the Golden State have already returned more than 900,000 ballots ahead of the June 2 Primary, showing a massive surge in Republican votes compared to four years ago for the governor’s race.

A post on Saturday from the research firm Political Data (PDI) showed that out of 905,889 ballots that have been returned, 37% were from Republicans, with Republican returns up 11% compared to the same stage of the 2022 midterms.

More shocking is the fact that the data showed 41% of Democrats who have returned their ballots, down 13 points from the same moment in the primary election four years ago.

When comparing the 2022 numbers to 2026 the difference is stark.

41% (-13)-Democrats

37% (+11)- Republicans

22% (+2)-Independents/other

Vice President with PDI Paul Mitchell attributed the early numbers to two different things.

“Republicans are potentially returning their ballots at a pre-2020 rate, before [President Donald]Trump and other leaders discouraged it,” Mitchell told The Post.

And the second, he said that “some Democrats are holding on to their ballot to make sure their vote isn’t wasted, so that they get to vote for someone that makes it to the top two.”

If we had honest elections, this country would be very different.

Several dynamics are driving this.

California Democrats have become so insane , corrupt and arrogant that they are making the state unlivable even for liberal Democrats

Republicans see that they might just have a chance and are not as apathetic as in past years.

The Trump Administration has shut down the diversion of taxpayer money that has been funding the professional Democrat machine politics

The Trump Administration has been putting pressure to shut down the Democrats vote fraud machine.

Trumps ICE enforcement and deportations have cut into the illegal aliens illegal voting in California elections which has been rampant in past elections.

There are some areas in California that are so heavily populated with illegal aliens that if illegals were not voting, the vote turn out in those areas would be in the single digits.

An in depth analysis of national voting trends demonstrated convincingly that the Democrats have padded their voting rolls to give a built in 4%-6% margin of vote fraud to statewide and national elections across the US . The Democrats brazen, blatantly over the top use of fraud to defeat President Trump in the 2020 exposed a lot of the Democrats vote fraud schemes

Turns out that we are not as evenly divided of a nation as the Democrats would like us to believe and that Democrats policies are not as popular as election results would suggest.

Democrats are just very good at manipulating elections

If Trump can shut down a significant part of the Democrats built in margin of fraud the Democrats will get wiped out nationwide.

Dems will wait to see how many votes they have to “find”.

I feel like this is a Beto O’Rourke situation, Democrats went crazy thinking the guy had a chance to win a statewide election in Texas, poured millions into the race and only have him lose multiple times.

The other analogy is a Charlie Brown situation where the football always gets pulled away at the last moment.

I’ll get excited when a Republican actually wins a major race in California, either Governor or Mayor of LA, in a sane world Republicans would win both races, the election system in California is so rigged I don’t believe either race can be won.

An honest election in a blue state is the very definition of an oxymoron.

From drawing of electoral districts to the acceptance and counting of votes as “valid” or “invalid” there is not one means of introducing fraud overlooked.

If a republican wins this seat, it’s gonna be so freaking difficult for them with a super majority in both state houses. I wish the person the best of luck because they’re gonna need it.

Generic percentages of return ballots are fine. And nobody knows if there’s cross voting or who voted for whom. Nothing wrong with giving percentages.

A few things are in play here.

I’m sure there are a bunch of dejected Republicans living in LA that thought there vote was useless. They now feel a bit empowered to vote.

Many illegals have chosen to deport, and those who have not are afraid to draw attention to themselves by illegally voting.

Not every democrat voter is a whacked out commie and hates the direction of their party.

I don’t have a pollyannish view of the outcome, but remember, Trump had over 6 million votes in California, outpaced only by Texas.

Not enough. Time for Republicans to all vote 10,000 times each. Or more. We turn ing about 80 million Republican votes, sweep all the Dems out of power, and watch how fast they clean up the election processes.

I hope they vote to dilute the Democratic vote between the candidates. However, I read an article that said Democrats are waiting to vote due to the Swalwell mess and will vote later this time perhaps on one candidate.

The LA Mayoral election is more important than the midterms. If Pratt pulls it off, it will send shockwaves throughout the political world.

There is no chance in hell California allows a republican on the ballot. Zero. None. If by some chance one of the republicans make it, the democrat will win. If two democrats make it, the democrat will win. If, in the microscopically chance both republicans make it, a judge already has a ruling sitting on its desk ready to throw out the results declaring the primary system is unconstitutional and disenfranchising minority voters, or some such nonsense.
