The Senate impeachment trial vote was on February 13th 2021.
Senator Bill Cassidy voted to convict (i.e. remove from office) a man who was ALREADY out of office.
Because the purpose of that vote was to prevent Donald Trump from ever holding office again.
So that all the policies that have been put into place, would never have been put into place.
Can't wait to see this anti-conservative "Republican" senator be defeated!

I detest all politicians a little more each day.
I wish I still lived in BTR just so I could vote for his opponent.
He needs to contemplate his evil deeds in quiet retirement.
So do I. Here is one of the latest from our stupid House Speaker. His comments are really designed to reel in the voters. Notttttttt LOL No self awareness at all, or probably, they just do not care.

Cassidy has also been Big Pharma’s greatest ally and Robert F. Kennedy, and MAHA’s biggest thorn. He sabotaged the most crucial appointment RFK Jr. made, which was Dr. Dave Weldon to lead the CDC.
Dave Weldon, an M.D., is no homeopath. He is pro-life, a former Florida Congressman, and continues to practice as an internist who regularly vaccinates his patients. But during the 90s, he bravely represented parents who had concerns about vaccine safety and protocols for infants and children.
Cassidy made it so, Weldon couldn’t even make it to the first confirmation hearing.
Instead, Cassidy forced Bobby Kennedy to appoint Deep State Fauci stooge, Susan Monarez to lead the The CDC. She has since been fired. And the leadership position has been in flux ever since.
“... I can assume that the White House staff had my nomination withdrawn also because the Republican Chairman Dr. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana was also voting no. Ironically, he is also an internist like me and I have known him for years and I thought we were friends. But he too was also throwing around the claim that I was “antivax “ or that I believed that vaccines cause autism which I have never said...”

You’re not alone in that. Most of em are lawyers that couldn’t make in private practice, but they were smart enough to figure out that the only way to legally steal other peoples’ money was to become a politician.
And why Trump is endorsing Lelow is waaayyyy beyond me. I don’t think I could muster up the fortitude to vote for her.
Hopefully, Cassidy is put out today and Cornyn later this month. RINO’s are worse than RATS.
“””””Voters will choose among the Republican and Democratic Senate candidates in separate party primaries Saturday. No-party voters can choose whether to vote for either the Republican or Democratic candidates, but not both. To do so, no-party voters must fill out a one-page Declaration of Ballot Choice.
Cassidy is relying on a good-sized turnout of no-party voters for him.”””
Louisiana and the many other Southern States need to get rid of OPEN PRIMARIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who needs DEMOCRATS AND INDEPENDENTS deciding who should be the REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES?????????
“Cassidy is relying on a good-sized turnout of no-party voters for him.””””
This is a close primary vote, but I can’t find out enough about that little workaround. You have to remember, Republicans wrote this law.
The impeachment vote was a crime in itself.
He was just groveling on Greg Kelly’s show. He really wants to keep the job.
It will be gratifying to see this RINO turd’s career get flushed down the toilet today.
RINO's are RATS, just sitting on a different side of the aisle, look at that prick, john thune, and I apologize for donating to his first campaign for the senate.
Mea Culpa.
Question: If the 17th Amendment didn’t exist would the Louisiana legislature pick Cassidy?
Cassidy is a back stabbing pol who should be running as a dem.
Amen cotton!
The Republican Party
We have to fix it
It’s why we lose
Seemed to many that the senate and house are little more than elite clubs, much like exclusive country clubs notorious for discriminating against applicants seen as wanting, and will oppose the admission of anyone seen as an outsider. Seen in that light, it makes sense that so many members of both parties are Trump haters for opposing a man who didn’t make his bones through decades of “public service.”
