Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) so reportedly slung antisemitic attacks at Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) at a bar in the Washington, D.C., neighborhood of Capitol Hill.
The New York Republican said that William Paul claimed that if Massie lost, it would be “because of my people.”Well, who is ‘my people’?” Lawler recounted asking in response. “And he yelled out, ‘Jews.’” He claimed that Paul also expressed hatred toward gay people, calling the comments “f—ing disgusting.”

Brings up the question-How does your foot taste?
In vino veritas
I don’t know why anyone remotely prominent would drink to the point of intoxication at a bar with other prominent people there. Or in a work situation or anywhere with reporters around. When I used to drink, I never drank at a work function. Not to say that I was going to get drunk at a work function, but even if you got a little “tipsy”, there was always a risk that you said and did things that were out of character. If Paul’s son wanted to get drunk, he should do it in some dive bar where no one knew who he was.
WORDS of William Paul.
Anybody know if the bar was Butterworths?
Too little, too late. Hope this teaches him how to control his tongue.

Your snip is deceptive. You left the n off.
How does one apologize for something he “allegedly” did? “I am truly sorry for saying what I may or may not have actually said.”
There’s a number of us up here that are really glad cell phones weren’t around when we were growing up. After reading the article.... he was sloppy drunk and IIRC back in the day some called that having fun.
Apology not accepted...cuz it doesn’t change what you already did...da
He wasn’t born those views.
I suspect he got those ideas from his daddy and granddaddy.....that would explain a lot outta that little bitch rand.
Exactly. He got drunk and said the things he wouldn’t say sober. In vino veritas. His true heart came out.
**Anybody know if the bar was Butterworths?**
Tune Inn Bar.
A 30 day visit to the capitol during the month of May would be a good time to visit. I would think most of those kind of bars are in Georgetown and the town is now ‘safe’ but my drinking days have slowed down.

Saye do what?
Ah, the classic “not who I am” excuse. He says he’s going to get help with his drinking, which means he’ll be a sober antisemite in the future. That whole family is insane.
Does he still live “at home”, “at home” being the swamp.
Son of snake and a drunk to boot.
This is not the first time Paul has gotten into trouble. In 2013, North Carolina police accused William Paul, then 19, of assaulting a flight attendant during an incident that led to his arrest on disorderly conduct charges. In 2023, William Paul pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in a in a Kentucky district court, as per WDRB
FWIW Go looks back at some of Mel Gibsons interviews and rants from long ago talking about the pedos and other sickos in hollywood and other positions of power and he was dead right
The apple never falls far from the tree.
As you noted, drink to the point of intoxication and you’re liable to say something wrong. No good can come of that.
And if you say it to the wrong person, you’re liable to find yourself in a bar fight. Such fights are nothing like the ones seen in the movies.
I’m an old guy now. On the rare occasions when I go to a bar, I drink nonalcoholic beer only. I like NA pale ale beers, but unfortunately most bars don’t stock them.
