The Party’s Over

Just when the Democrats seem to be finished, Gavin swoops in with truckloads of diapers.

he Democrat party is facing such a host of seemingly intractable problems -- structural, financial, legal, and ideological -- that it will be close to a miracle if it survives after this year’s midterms. The below-deck shuffles -- encouraging illegal alien votes, manipulating the census, making crooked voting almost impossible to check, and stuffing their pockets with illegal contributions through ACT Blue and pay-to-play schemes of USAID and NGOs -- are all suddenly being exposed and blocked.

Empty Pockets

Jeff Childers has done a thorough job explaining the party’s terminal crisis. Being short of funds is a good start.

The Laundromat is Closed

Running a modern political campaign requires astronomical amounts of money. For years, Democrats relied on two massive funding streams: small-dollar digital donations via ActBlue, and a sprawling network of government-funded NGOs. Both are now collapsing.

Last month, the Washington Post reported that the Democratic National Committee is facing a massive cash crunch as “top donors have been slow to open their wallets.” The DNC had assured party officials that their resounding 15-point victory in the Virginia governor’s race would open the floodgates. “But big checks did not flood back,” leaving DNC Chairman Ken Martin presiding over a financial and leadership crisis.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has taken a sledgehammer to the NGO complex. DOGE first targeted USAID, leading to the elimination of over 5,000 programs. These programs were rife with fraud and political grift, with taxpayer money flowing through dizzying arrays of cut-out corporations to Democrat coffers. Musk bluntly explained, “This is one of the biggest sources of fraud in the world— government-funded NGOs.”

The broader recent crackdowns on Medicare fraud, autism services, and daycare funding are systematically cutting off

Speaking of their ground game, I particularly want to see DOJ/Civil Rights Division get around to South Dakota’s voter rolls...

From the article, "The party's central theme is opposition to Trump in everything, even the privately financed, long-needed ballroom."

Succinct and accurate. It's still a while before many primaries and the November elections. Take heart.

I am somewhat trepidatious over the midterms. We will see if the screaming, pierced, blue haired psycho, gender fluid anarchists are any kind of majority. And if the wave of right minded people people who voted for Trump will get out and vote again. Then theres the vote fraud to deal with. I have doubts. If we gain seats in both houses then the Dems are done. If not...as Laz says...we are so screwed.

I'm going to have my coffee and clutch my pearls some more.

It is a beautiful picture Clarice paints. The table is set for a force like Trump to upset another traditional expectation of mid-term losses.

He’s busted norms time and again.

I salivate at her speculation that the party of Donks won’t survive mid-term losses.

The United States of America can survive the demise of the Democrat Party. The union must always be preserved. How well we’d thrive may depend on how well-meaning our intentions are. The more well-meaning they are the less we’d have negative unintended consequences to deal with as a nation going forward.

they had a very strong ground game that was paid for by the US taxpayer. Stealing the 2020 election was a huge mistake and T$ is now making them pay for it

Newsom is also finding out that it wasn’t a good idea to replace his tax base with destitute, unskilled, welfare-dependent illegal aliens.

“California lost over 500,000 people between 2020 and 2022, Los Angeles County alone lost approximately 54,000 residents from 2024 to 2025, the largest numeric decline of any county in the nation.”

Now he’s driving out the billionaires, who have taken ≈ $1 trillion with them out of the state.

Remember: “California’s top 1% of income earners contribute approximately 39% of the state’s total personal income tax revenue.”

“”And Republicans have to overcome the historical midterm trends.””

***

Their biggest “trend” and tendency being that of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory... over and over and over again.
