Interestingly, law school is not designed to teach law, it is designed to change the way law students interact with people and how they approach problems. This pedology is effective, just like boot camp makes good soldiers, law school makes effective lawyers. They learn to listen carefully, read everything. Ignore anything they don’t think bears on their solution to a problem no matter how much the person talking or the writer writing thinks of their own take on the situation. Hence, the arrogance.
