Elisabeth “Betty” Broderick, who in 1989 infamously murdered her ex-husband and his new bride as they slept in the bedroom of their California home, has died at 78 while serving a life sentence.
Broderick died on Friday at the California Institution for Women of natural causes, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation confirmed to People.

What she did was so wrong, but he drove her to the brink of sanity and she went over the top.

Dan was a big time lawyer and used his friends and knowledge to screw her over as much as possible.

Sounds right from what I recall. I’d add that all the lawyers in the area treated her like she was radioactive and she felt the judge wasn’t being impartial, either. She was definitely a tormented soul and I really felt bad for her. I hesitate to say anything about the kids because they were partly brainwashed/bought by their Dad and partly tormented by their Mom’s suffering. Tough position for kids.
If anyone deserves hell? I will always let GOD decide who deserves hell. The Ten Commandments are all equal in sin.

No, I noticed it right away and thought the same exact thing. My response was meant purely as jest.
We attended the private screening of the movie at the RIO theater complex in Gaithersburg, MD.

She should have been executed decades ago for the double killing of her ex-husband and his new wife.
I listened to the heart breaking victim’s impact statement from the new wife’s family, it was terrible.
If I remember, HE put HER through not only law school but medical school, worked multiple jobs and had three kids. SHE became a high profile lawyer making big bucks. SHE met ANOTHER MAN and wanted out of HER marriage, then put the financial screws to DAN. So everything HE sacrificed and worked for was gone. SHE turned the kids against HIM, kept the mansion and the wealth.
Not saying SHE deserved to die, but SHE destroyed HIM and I can see the reason HE went off. SHE could have shown HIM respect and dignity, instead SHE had to have it all.
I was wondering the same thing.
