The driver seen racing down a sidewalk chasing a child on a dirt bike then tried to break into a neighbor’s home — just to fall on her face because she was so drunk, according to the neighbor.
US Army veteran Wendy Clemente, 56, is facing DUI and attempted assault charges over a viral video showing a silver Ford Focus driving down a sidewalk after the kid on a bike in Cheney, Washington.
Clemente was also hit with criminal trespass charges for allegedly trying to break into a nearby home immediately after the now-viral car chase.
“She was smashing the front door, and she stumbled off because she looked so drunk,” homeowner Lloyd Gaines, 48, told the Daily Mail of the attempted break-in that he was alerted to by his Ring doorbell camera.
“She fell off my porch and faceplanted.”
Clemente eventually managed to get into his home and “rustle through” his belongings, before she “tossed stuff around” and went through his wife’s jewelry, said Gaines, who was not at home at the time.
Gaines called 911 and returned to his house, where he found an apparently intoxicated Clemente in his front yard.
“She was stumbling around,” Gaines said, adding that she was “bouncing off trees” and seemed out of control.
The drunk intruder remarked on the patriotic flags that are usually outside Gaines’ house, he said.
“She asked me, ‘Where is your Trump flag?’ and I told her it rained last night so I put the flags away,” Gaines said — claiming the intruder bizarrely responded, “‘So, you’re worried God is going to p–s on them too?'”

It seems fitting to have a crazy town named after that family.
My sister ran two OSI (Air Force) investigation units. At the time the OSI was more like criminal investigators as opposed to now when they’re more focused on cyber intelligence. There is the same percentage of “Florida Men” in the military as the civilian world. In one case, an airman in Loring Main lay in his bunk and shot his toes off with a .45. I don’t recall all of the crazy cases, but there were a lot of them.
What is her disability rating? Is she getting taxpayer money for her “PTSD”?
Has to be one of Biden’s “veterans”. There are millions of sleazing out from under cow pies and campaigning for the DemonRAT Luigi politicians and a Donkey CONGress.
“Driver filmed chasing kid down sidewalk is Army vet who was so drunk, she ‘faceplanted’ in neighbor’s home: report” Life can be interesting for some people.
Bring back manual transmissions.
I wonder what her Army rank was
How do you get PTSD from a non-combatant billet?
Ok lets do the same thing to her. She can play the Running (Wo)man. Omly have the driver not miss.
So, had I been there at the camera POV, and because I’m always strapped, would I have been in the wrong to shoot that crazy b!tch? Motive, she was pissed at the kiddo and his bike riding in the street. Means, check. Opportunity, check. Would a reasonable person believe she was going to cause death or bodily harm to that young boy? I would.
And... Go!!!
It happens. Hazing, survivor guilt, third party trauma, etc. A drill instructor could have yelled at her. Or even possibly suffering a real personal trauma. So it was and is a legitimate question.
That's why I've argued since the murder of Chris Kyle that veterans getting PTSD shouldn't be allowed to own firearms. And if this crazy is getting PTSD disability, maybe driver's licenses should be restricted as well
Cousin’s daughter was an Army Nurse in Desert Storm. She has very bad PTSD. I do not know if it was from being a nurse, or some other bad thing that happened while she was there. I imagine being a nurse in a combat surgery setting in would be enough to cause it.
I understand what you are saying, but by that standard ER teams at large urban trauma centers also see a lot of bad stuff.
Survivor guilt is real. Shortly before the Alexander Kieland went down in the North Sea (oil field quarters rig) I was off it. 113 went down. I knew some. When my derrick man on a Storm Drill rig burned up alive in a blowout in South Louisiana it was part of a long list of my mates gone before their time. Did survivors guilt wreck me? No, it did not. It is like an empty dark and sad part in my soul.
