Yes, I have read that only plain black coffee has the healing properties. This may explain why espresso was invented.
I’m so glad coffee is back on the healthy list again!

Green coffee beans have significant chlorogenic acid content. That improves mitochondrial function. A light roast brewed and consumed "black" e.g. no milk or cream gives the best chlorogenic acid...and consume first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Add MCT oil with a high C8 concentration, some turmeric and sea salt to activate all the beneficial pathways for mitochondria.

Well, I take my coffee like I found the First Lady during the Obama dynasty: “Black and Bitter”.

Long ago, I was like 7 watching my dad make his coffee. He said, “kid do yourself a big favor in life. If you start drinking this, learn to drink it black. Putting all this crap in is a pain in the a**...”
So from day one, I learned to drink it black!!

I drink my coffee (only 2 cups in the morning) with a splash of heavy whipping cream - no sugar.
During my military years, I probably drank about 10 cups a day.
