From millionaires to overseas foreigners, from NFL players to luxury car owners, our money is going to everyone but us.
ou’d think that the recent find of 34,000 deceased North Carolinians still registered to vote would be bad enough, but Epoch Times reported 5,000 deceased people are also receiving SNAP benefits. This sounds like the plot of a B-rate horror movie: “Night of the Voting/Eating Dead.”
SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program providing benefits to people, like food stamps. USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins stated that SNAP is one of the “most corrupt, dysfunctional programs” in U.S. history, with 80% of the people using the program being able to work. Rollins stated that 5,000 dead people were getting SNAP, while another 500,000 people were double-dipping the SNAP program, getting twice the benefits under the same name. Rollins stated that there is “massive fraud,” which has only been found in the states that have cooperated with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—21 states refuse to hand over SNAP data. All but 2 of the 29 states working to rout out the fraud are Republican states. Democrat-states are suing the USDA, saying they do not have to share this data. Well, should these noncooperative states continue to receive this benefit? Not cooperating with solving a crime, isn’t that aiding and abetting criminal activity?
Recent data show that it’s not just 5,000 deceased people receiving SNAP benefits, but in Republican-states alone, that number totals 244,000. In the last year alone, 895 people were arrested for illegal food stamp use.
In addition, recent data show that in one state alone, 14,000 food stamp recipients are driving luxury cars. Rollins stated, “if this is happening in a red state, can you imagine what’s happening in the blue states?”

“””””It was designed to subsidize Walmart, Target and the major grocery store chains.”””””
How does it do that? What difference does it make where the grocery dollar comes from when a poor person goes grocery shopping, don’t they always shop at the cheaper grocery store?
There should be a website that publicly exposes SNAP users. Shame is a powerful weapon.
Whenever a snap card is swiped red light should flash and a horn blows so everyone in the store can glare At the user.
I thought everyone was going to have to reapply for SNAP?
money is power
any reduction in the money even fraud
is a reduction in their power
uh no
playing right into the collectivist hands
they want universal redistribution of income
ie everyone on welfare
try to cut one dollar of govt spending when everyone is on welfare
hello state primacy
good bye citizenship
2000 years later, bread and circuses still works.
SNAP is theft.
.
These results are just another reason the founders didn’t write a constitution that gave the federal government the power to steal money at gunpoint from some citizens to give to other citizens. It’s not in the constitution, never was, and the whole ‘entitlement’ BS needds o be cut-off. Period.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. If the U.S. government gives a $500 voucher to an unemployable slob every month and tells them that this voucher can only be used for groceries, doesn’t this add $500 of monthly revenue to the grocery industry’s bottom line that wouldn’t have been there if this person had to buy their own groceries?
We didn’t have these problems before the famous EBT cards came into being. You had to physically go to the Welfare Dept and personally get your COUPONS every month.
You would think that even the Communist blue states would insist on only American luxury cars. Look at all the work lost by American union workers to these foreign car snobs! Stop the waste, make SNAP recipients drive US luxury cars!
Scrap it totally and provide basic provisions locally for those who really need them.
The average is about $200 and I think that woman (or someone) would still somehow buy the groceries she needed to eat and that she would buy it at Walmart, and why Walmart instead of Whole Foods in your claim?
I think grocery buying in America is going to pretty much remain the same regardless of the origin of the dollar handed to the checkout lady.
The massive food stamp program is one reason food prices have increased so much. Illegal aliens, tens of millions of them, have been getting over $14,000 a year in food stamps.
“Scrap it totally and provide basic provisions locally for those who really need them.”
Who would that be, exactly?
1. Note what I highlighted above. I’ll bet you’d find that SNAP recipients consistently have the worst health conditions of anyone in America by any metric — and it’s largely because they buy a lot of crap at the grocery store that they DON’T need.
2. “Free money” will tend to make someone a totally irresponsible consumer. You’ve taken a major incentives for spending wisely away from the grocery shopper.
And I don’t know where Whole Foods came into this. I never mentioned that company.
I was looking at some snooty Boursin cheese the other day on Amazon and noticed it said “SNAP EBT eligible”.
We’ve got the most pampered poor people on planet Earth.
Theri food budget is like any other person’s, except that they are poor, if they waste a dollar on a food item then it is a dollar wasted from their limited food budget, just like anyone else on a limited food budget, if you spend carelessly then you come up short at the end of the month.
For the chronic poor their entire lives tend to reflect their IQs and impulse control, they are likely to eat pop-tarts for breakfast not a cantaloupe and oatmeal, chips and hot dogs probably have a larger role in their diet than does Obama’s arugula salad.
As far as Whole Foods, I asked you why you don’t mention them, it is always Walmart that you use.
