The most important and successful political assassination since 1963 happened in Utah last September, and basically nothing has happened in reaction.

Bad for whom?
The Democrats consistently win with violence. That is why they keep escalating their support and uses of it. We have not seen effective responses to stop this.
In particular, Democrats and their allies are very good at organizing mob violence against specific, individual targets. And they have also had great success with inflammatory rhetoric which inspires crazies to make "Lone Wolf"(tm) attacks. This is the so-called "stochastic terrorism".
And assassinations do not need to be successful to be effective.
Leftists always double-down on their efforts. Warnings and threats of dire consequences will not affect them. Actual counter-violence and removal from positions are the only actions that will make a difference. We must see arrests and long prison terms for violent Leftists in much greater numbers. Or we must see extra-judicial measures.
We are not seeing that yet.
