I've long thought Eric Carmen's "Go All the Way" by his group, Raspberries (1972) was a practically perfect rock n roll song.

The wee-hours road rollerskating is pure ballet, giving a surreal, kinetic touch to a magical song. Athletic ladies -- pro rollerskaters -- easy on the eyes. Enjoy.
Enjoying it even without the music. (at the office, no headphones)
Eric was a hardcore conservative in his final years.
Good for you. We need a few moments of sweet nothings these days.
Roller skating and disco worked well together. Do NOT ask me how I know.
He could still do his songs perfectly at age 56. He died a couple of years ago at 74. RIP
How DO you know. It’ll be our secret.
Eric Carmen? The fat kid from South Park?
Hey, I took disco lessons so the babe would go to the prom with me. I’ve got stories that really should remain secrets.
Yep, we all had to make compromises in High School to get the chicks.
Great tune, lousy video. Did not fit.
Good one!
This was one of the songs that played on the sound system during my high school swim team workouts. I always kind of smell chlorine when I hear it.
A great song!
That swim team anecdote is fascinating to me. My wife just finished putting together a collection of songs to work out with at our local pool.
Wonderful! Thank you for posting. Unique.
U R welcome!
A lot of tweets in support of President Trump
Well, I’ll be ... never cared for the song, but I always heard “Please don’t go away.”
Nope. It was a bit more suggestive than that. LOL. Early on, there were a lot of radio stations that wouldn’t play it.
