Appearing on special coverage, CNN security analyst and former Secret Service agent Jonathan Wackrow did not point to Trump. Instead, he described what he called an “assassination culture”—a decentralized, digitally driven phenomenon in which grievance and ideology are reinforced in online echo chambers.

The line in the ‘manifesto’ that got my attention is this one.... “And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”

There’s no real debate over the fact that the USA is a very violent culture, and always has been. The whole frontier identity we have applauds violence.
Just look at the movies, novels, games, and TV shows popular in our culture; nearly all of them depict serious violence as a rational choice to solve a problem.
They say a half hour of television exposes the viewer to more scenes of graphic violence than a head-hunter in Borneo will experience in his entire life.
When “Lincoln Project” mentioned, you know it was going to be a bunch of lies from disgustingly disgraced people. Enough said.
