The European Union straitjacket

What started out as a plan for a common market evolved has matured into a central planner’s paradise with all the associated problems that once gripped the Soviet Union.

The European Union is essentially the project of a bureaucratic elite, and is undemocratic at its core. It was designed, from its inception, to wrest power from the democratic institutions of individual European members and vest it within the EU bureaucracy. In recent decades, it has taken on a hideous form with the embrace of climate eschatology and destruction of industry in the name of net-zero. Even worse, it has promoted unrestricted immigration to dilute and dissolve the distinctive European cultures and repress any assertion of European ethno-nationalism, while being blind to an assertive political Islam growing in the heart of Europe.

The European Union is a straitjacket in which its citizens are confined. As the recent protests in Ireland demonstrate, the citizenry may object to what is being imposed upon them, just as peasant riots in the Medieval period vented frustration, but essential control by the EU elite remains. The European Union’s central tool for keeping a lid on political dissent and protest is the Digital Services Act. It calls for instituting what amounts to a modern-day version of the East German state security arm known as Stasi to keep an eye on restive elements of the populace so that online discourse remains within boundaries acceptable to the EU elite. It is the enabler of a surveillance state writ large.

With the DSA, the EU bureaucracy becomes the sole arbiter of what constitutes “hate” speech and disinformation. (Never mind that “hate” speech is a relatively new term with differing interpretations and disinformation is any information that one disagrees with, so vague is its meaning.) Like the East German Stasi,

Until a law is passed where cash 💲💲 has an expiration date 📅 and has to be deposited in a bank by that date or be considered useless. IMHO that will be their method. Unless something has changed, Joe Biden's Executive Order 14067 is still in force. If it has been rescinded I haven't seen it. If anyone has an update on that, please advise.

The Common Market was immensely successful at first. Its sole purpose was to make trade and tariffs between member nations fair. The Common Market flourished.

It morphed into “The European Union.” The very name indicates a nation state and not individual nations. It has acted as a super government for all those nations. It wants to control each nation’s internal affairs and external affairs and will punish a nation economically that does not concur with this policy. It has become tyranny.

Oddly the same thing has happened in our nation. The federal government’s powers and influence has far exceeded Constitutional Law! As originally designed by our constitution it would have limited powers and any power not specifically designated by The Constitution remained the right of each individual state or citizen. Today black robed tyrants, also called justices, twist the words of The Constitution to fit their individual views and not the written constitution. Yes, our federal government has become tyrannical!
