🚨 President Trump just dropped this gem!

Trump saved America $298 MILLION on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool:

The historic pool, where MLK gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, was a leaking, filthy disaster.

Government bureaucrats wanted $300 MILLION and 3+ years to rip it up.

Trump said hell no.

Called in real pool experts, scrubbed the original granite, sealed it, and topped it with American Flag Blue industrial coating.

✅ $1.5–2 MILLION
âś… Done in 2 weeks
✅ Will last 40–50 years and look better than 1922

This is how you run government like a business.

Promises kept! Taxpayer dollars saved!

The US Embassy in Israel is another example. His plan cost a lot less and was done much quicker.

They have had no end of problems with the memorial complex
Ever since it was built, largely due to the fact that it is built on reclaimed river bottom.

This story seems to gild the lily at least a little, because other renovations were planned, beyond repairing the integrity of the basin, which is due to settling of the ground

Somebody’s wife, son, cousin, brother-in-law etc. that owns a construction company is no doubt upset at the loss of a highly profitable scheme.

The structural problems aren’t something a pool coating will fix. This requires geotechnical engineering that is beyond the capabilities of a pool company applying a coating. At best, it’s a very short-term aesthetic upgrade.

Demoncrats always overprice!
The rest goes into their pockets!
Lately, nothing gets done by them and no one can account for the missing millions!
THIEFOCRATS!
MEGALOOTERS!
And their pawns are open about being microlooters…….!
They’re so stupid they don’t know that raises prices for everybody else.
Maybe they DO know and DON’T care.

This is how you run government like a business.

Although I have deep respect for Trump's business acumen, this isn't about 'running government like a business', it's about running government like most Americans living on a budget would.

If they weren't going to fix it wonderfully as they are, I think a good use would have been to fill it with manure and have the pathetic liberals in government stand in it at lunchtime at least 3 days a week.

““Step in” to do what?
Its already done.”

I should have included /s.
I was saying that liberal judges have stepped in on practically everything that President Trump has done. It wouldn’t surprise me if a judge directed him to do the job originally proposed and try to make him undo what has been done.

2000 ft. Long and nearly 200 ft. Wide

How Deep is it?

Sounds like a Pool to me.

I’ve wonderful memories of my father letting us skate on the reflecting pool as kids during the winter in the 70’s.DC had many free fun spots back then for families. Those times are gone like fathers and the family station wagon.
