Trump Says High Oil Prices Worth It to Prevent ‘Nuclear Holocaust In Europe

President Donald Trump was pressed in the Oval Office on Thursday about gas prices after he said he once worried they could go as high as $200 a barrel due to the war in Iran.

A reporter asked if Trump would be willing to accept $200 oil in order to continue the war.

“I think that there’s nothing worse than a nuclear weapon that takes out one of your cities, or two of your cities, or three. I think there’s something worse than the nuclear weapon is going to destroy the Middle East, including Israel,” Trump replied, adding:

I think there is nothing worse than Europe being under attack by people that have missiles now that reach Europe. As you know, they don’t reach us, but they reach Europe — but they will reach us at some time, probably in the not too distant future, unless we stop them now.

I think there would be nothing worse than having a nuclear holocaust in Europe — London, Paris, various places in Germany — all targeted. Now, what I say is you can’t let them have. I don’t think it will happen, by the way. I really think — we actually, it turns out, that we are “drill, baby, drill” and it turns out we’re producing a lot of oil, and they’re buying the oil. They’re going to Alaska, they’re going to Texas, Louisiana.

And our guys have done a fantastic job. We’re putting out, right now, more oil and gas than we ever have in the history of our country. And one other thing — there are more people employed today in the United States than ever in the history of the country, okay?

Temporary fuel increase....but detractors will scream like life is over as we know it! Kill as many muzzies that you can get away with ! The real thieves are the retail outlets selling crap at elevated prices and never reducing when their costs are less. Only way to combat that is not buy their crap look on line....cut them out!(never thought I would say that)

Now here’s the thing. The average voter might care about how dangerous Iran is. But that level of concern is low. After all, there has (thankfully) been no Pearl Harbor to focus everyone on the danger.

This average voter will care much more about inflation, and gas prices. That’s immediate, and it’s right in front of him.

This does not bode well for the November elections.

What a specious argument that is.

If you lived through the Cold War you had the danger of nuclear war and death everyday for at least 40 years, either by bombs from the air or ICBM missiles.
Yet life went on.

The last 35 plus years we have seen Pakistan, India, and North Korea get Nuclear Weapons and NK has ICBM’s. Then we have Israel having nuclear weapons and no one knows exactly what they have as they have never submitted to any inspections by the IAEA, The U.S. or any other organization.

The only country that concerns me is NK, they have the means and capability to deliver missiles to this country from there as well as from one of the few of their submarines.

Their target could be the two nuclear power plants in California. Hit those and you trigger a Nuclear Meltdown which will release Radioactive Gas along a wide area, depending on the wind. There is no estimate as to how people would be affected and die. The land in those. areas would be inhabitable for decades upon decades.

I am not really concerned about Iran getting a nuclear Device simply because Trump has made their case they should have one by the amateur way he handled things.

The original JCPOA was fine and Iran by all accounts was abiding by it. Now they will not meet with us due to the fact Trump sends people like Witkoff and Kushner and not experienced Diplomats who know how to professionally negotiate.

This is not some backroom real estate deal, which is about all Trump knows. His multiple Truth Social comments actually are hurting not helping things as they are increasing chaotic and erratic with no logical frame of mind.

Just last weekend it was reported that Trump may have twice wanted to talk about using tactical Nuclear Weapons, that cannot be allowed to happen under any circumstances. We are already ,as a country ,being looked upon a a Pariah, if we use Nukes then we risk being totally being isolated from the rest of the world. Do we really want that?

Many think that Trump is some sort of Genius, but the truth is that he is an 80 year old man and the job is wearing him down quickly in addition to is Ego Driven Narcissistic personality. Just look at his Social Media Posts, they are far from true, more like fantasy.

Trump isn’t worried about November, because I think he’s figured out that the Republicans are useless anyway, and at least if the Democrats control Congress, the situation is simplified.

“The original JCPOA was fine and Iran by all accounts was abiding by it.”

Were they abiding by it before or after they enriched 800 KG of uranium?

We are keeping the Senate. Democrats are running ridiculous Canidates in MI and ME. They are doing what we did 4 years ago. I think we push at 53.

It’s a cheap price to pay, really.

Still, I think we need to stop the ceasefire and get back in there. I’ve said from the very beginning that we only lose if we stop early.

Maybe drop the federal tax on gasoline until it’s finished.

Iran was abiding by the JCPOA until Trump pulled out in 2018. After that they began to stockpile enriched uranium.

“So, no joy at the pump? How long will this take?”

However long it takes, it’s better than not finishing the job.

Not finishing, and accomplishing the originally stated goals would be the worst foreign policy disaster of the last 100 years and would be worse than losing Iran in the first place.

It would be like failing to stop the German Nazis.

Trump acts as if Iran is a threat to Europe which is ridiculous.
